AJO Apartments - Alte Donau Lake or Garden View Balcony Studio - Self-Check-in

Location was good and withing a 15 minute walking distance of the kagran metro station, so getting around was very easy. The property is very close to several beautiful public parks like donaupark on altedonau, and an art park within close walking distance to the right of the property by the shoreline. Getting the keys was super easy with the self checkin and took no time at all. Overall excellent place to stay for solo / duo travelers who want a flat in a quieter place of the city. Also loved the cactus collection in the garden.

The bathroom ventilation duct was very dusty, and the toilet had a strange platform for your turd to land on making the whole room smell whenever you took a dump. Not a big deal just odd design choice.

Its location was nice, looking directly at the beautiful blue Danube … close to the metro station ( Kagran ) 10 mins walk

The room had an attic with scary objects like a set of 3 big wooden parrots just above the bed which kept me feeling that they might fall on me while sleeping . Plus, 2 mannequins that were kept in an attic seen from the room which was quite unusual .

We had a lake view apartment and it had a great view of the tower and the park, across the lake. A nice airy break from the busy sightseeing and a good way to start the day. Easy access 24 hours. Westfield and Kagran U Bahn is just under 15 min walk. Alte Donau U Bahn is 15 mins and a nicer more straightforward walk - same line. Easy to visit Prater Park. Uber or Bolt to Alte Donau only 6 euros.9 euros to the tower. Nice swims at the lake from the jetties just up from the apartments. Simple facilities fine for us as we are out. Stayed here as near friends. Would normally stay further in to a city centre, but this was much better. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing, gave a 9 as it is very very good and we enjoyed it, but it cannot really be described as exceptional

Good location, comfortable and neat accommodation

The check-in time, and the cost of early check-in is extremely expensive. We were only allowed to check in after 15:00 (which is quite late) - not a second earlier. Early check-in can be arranged at a fee. This meant that we had to wait in the freezing cold outside the venue (so cold that there was some faint snow) until the time-lock allowed us in.
