About this cottage rental
Charming wooden cottage built in 1914. One of the first houses built on the hill above the town of Stinson Beach. There are two rooms: one bedroom with a queen size bed and an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. Cozy and lovely with comfortable furniture. Single wall construction (meaning, not insulated ) with good forced air heating and a free standing fireplace in the bedroom.

The town of Stinson is very small with a grocery store, a book shop, a surf shop that rents surf boards and wetsuits, a kayak rental business, a few boutiques, a gallery, three resturaunts and a library. Please be aware there are no gas stations for ten miles, so be sure to fill up before coming over the hill.

We absolutely loved this cottage! It is a charming, very large one bedroom, filled with the owner's art work. It's a mere, quick walk to the beach and close to tons of hiking trails. The hot tub greeted us on our return. We had total privacy. The owner was next door and available, if we needed her and she was very responsive to our needs. This has become our new nearby get away from the city and we look forward to return visits.

Great cozy, comfortable bungalow. Wonderfully creative art on the walls. Kitchen was well outfitted. Host was fantastic. Will def try to book it on another Stinson Beach trip.
