About this house rental
This vacation home is located in The Preserve at Grayton and has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The home features stunning 10' ceilings throughout. Find yourself surrounded by towering palms and pines, this gorgeous beach home beckons you to experience bright spaces, designer touches, and amazing community amenities.
As you walk in to the home you'll find 3 of the home's bedrooms. Walking up the stairs is the main open concept area with living, dining and kitchen combined. The living area features a comfortable sectional. There is dining at the table for 8 with additional seating at the kitchen island and more out on the balcony. Off the kitchen is a convenient powder room plus the master suite. Head up to the 3rd floor to find the 5th bedroom. A private oasis where you'll feel like you're up in the trees.
Laze away the day on a spacious porch, hang out by the pool, or go for a bike ride in this immensely pedestrian and bike friendly community. Grayt Tides is located on the quiet west end of the eclectic 30A. It’s close to Blue Mountain Beach and the famous and delectable Blue Mountain Creamery. It is also located just 3 miles from Seaside and super close to hot spots like The Red Bar and Pandora’s.

1st Floor, Bedroom 1: King bed, TV. Jack-n-Jill bathroom with Bedroom 2.
1st Floor, Bedroom 2: Twin-over-twin bunk bed with Twin trundle and TV.
1st Floor, Bedroom 3: Triple twin bunk and twin bed. Private bathroom.
2nd Floor, Bedroom 4: King bed with TV, private bathroom and private balcony access.
3rd Floor, Bedroom 5: King bed with TV, wet bar, private bathroom and balcony access.
Beach Access:
Exit the neighborhood and cross 30A. To the west of Sanctuary by The Sea complex you'll find your gated walkway to the beach. Once down the pathway, head right towards the public beach or on your left past the sections of private beach you'll find Grayton Beach State Park.

An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Upon pulling in to the gated neighborhood, the houses were all well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and inviting. The employees were quick to answer question about the gate code entry. Upon entering the home, all of the bedrooms and baths on the first floor were clean and stocked. On the second floor, the living room furniture was very comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with all items needed to cook. The primary bedroom and bath were spacious and well appointed. Just a tip for anyone renting the house, the balcony doors will appear not not lock if you open them. You have to close door and lift handle upward to engage lock then turn deadbolt. If you do not pull handle upward, the lock will not lock. This information would have been beneficial ahead of time. The laundry was sufficient for our needs. On the third floor, the bedroom and bath were both a nice size and the bar and fridge was helpful as the guest did not have to go downstairs to get drinks. The house is great for sleeping several people. The house does show some normal wear on the paint, but this did not deter from the beauty of the home or the area. It was conveniently located to several beach options within 10 min walk. There was a cute coffee/ice cream shop within a quick walk. Overall the home and area was such a nice place to stay.

Overall our experience at Grayt Tides was very satisfying. The house is large and welcoming. One of the community pools is very close (easy walk for everyone) and very nice. The young ones in our group really enjoyed time there after several hours on the beach. The beach options are, Blue Mountain beach (very small public area), private access area from walkway ( access to public area required going a good distance in the sand), and Grayton beach. We chose Grayton beach because of the free parking and tram service. Much easier to maneuver a larger group like ours. There were a few codes we needed to have updated and our questions were answered very quickly (Within 30 minutes). We loved the house and area and hope to return soon.

House is large but needs LOTS of upgrades. The house definitely shows its age. The kitchen is well below average-refrigerator leaks, the pots and pans are horrible. The bedding and linens are well below average. The porches all creak. The wood flooring the kitchen needs to be redone. The 2 chairs in the family room need to be replaced-they lean and creak. We absolutely love the neighborhood and have stayed there 4-5 times. The beach was absolutely amazing and October is a wonderful time to visit. The management team was fine.
