About this villa rental
Villa Salt Air is your home away from home at the beach. This villa is perfectly perched with an amazing Panoramic View of Water Bay and the rest of the Virgin Islands and only a short walk to the beach, pool, and restaurants. With this villa you have completely unobstructed water views and ultimate privacy. A major Plus, is its located within a gated Resort community with all the amenities you could ask for. This is the one you want!

This newly listed vacation home overlooking Pineapple Beach, St. John, and the British Virgin Islands, is surrounded by spectacular ocean vistas and cooled by constant trade winds.
Stunning ocean views fill the entire living and dining area, which can also be viewed through to the bedroom.
A private terrace, right on the water, provides immaculate views of the sea, along with a secluded place to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings and trade wind breezes.
VILLA SALT AIR can accommodate up to 4 guests and includes a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, Flat screen TV with cable, iPod compatible radio, in room safe, and of course air-conditioning. There is complementary WiFi in the villa as well as around the resorts common areas.
The resort is designed in such a way that the units feel extremely private and serene. The Resort is close enough to the town of Red Hook for dining and shopping but also far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. By far Point Pleasant Resort is the most romantic, relaxing, and affordable vacation resort on St. Thomas. The villa really is just an amazing place to just relax, slow down and get away from it all.
VILLA SALT AIR, is not only in a world class resort with lots of amenities but the unit itself is set apart from many other units because it is the closest unit to the water and only a 2 minute walk to the the waterfront restaurant and beach which prevents you from having to walk up and down the steep hills all day long. Being right on the water allows you to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the rolling waves. Dining outdoors on the private wrap around the terrace with views of St. John and the BVI is equally sublime.

Our 7 night stay at Villa Salt Life was so memorable. The Villa is decorated with a tropical vibe and views of the Caribbean were amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the huge balcony. There are 2 loungers, table/chairs and a cushy 2 person chair. The Villa was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, spices, etc. The host provides everything you need to know prior your stay, including recommendations on things to do, grocery stores, taxis, things to do and see. Koki Beach is within a 10 minute walk, the snorkeling is amazing and the beach is beautiful. Point Pleasant Resort has 2 dining options, Sun and Sea is down by the water and you can see/feed huge tarpon. And a fine dining restaurant, Ocean 180. The nature trails are a must, one leads down to Sugar Beach. We enjoyed taking morning nature walks, there’s so much to see and the resort is very peaceful. Our host, Alan was great! He provided everything we needed and more. We felt very secure and had Alan’s number if we needed anything. Which we never had to use. I sent a text when we checked out and Alan responded back quickly thanking us for our stay. We travel often and this is top on our list and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend booking with Alan and Villa Salt Life.

Fast and very helpful host...I originally messaged about another unit that didn't specify the bed size and let him know we really needed a King bed. That property didn't work for us but he quickly suggested this one. King bed and it was very, very comfortable. Watching the sunrise from bed was a nice bonus. Good amount of coolers, chairs, misc. beach gear in the closet. Kitchen had everything you could need. Nice location in the resort between restaurants. Middle unit so you get minimal noise from your neighbors upstairs.
From the road/parking you will have about 6-8 steps down to the unit...this would be my only caution. They are stone steps and uneven...no handrail. If you forget to leave the porch light on, then they are not lit well. Just take note and be aware, we didn't have any problems but someone with balance issues might...or too many daiquiris.
We loved the security. They checked our car tag EVERY single time we came through even though they likely recognized us after a week and there is a gate to make you stop. It felt like actual security versus places that just wave you on through.
Definitely a 5-star unit, we will be back!

Exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful view, great location and all the amenities you could ask for. The only problem was it was over too quickly. There are plenty of great beaches and things to do close by. St John’s is a short ferry ride and an excellent day trip. Beach chairs, coolers and snorkeling gear are all provided. There is a nice little kitchen which we didn’t use much except for the blender. The deck and view really make it! Overall awesome
