I will acknowledge that the spaces were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well and the apartment is in a good location.

I am sorry to say the apartment fell short of expectations. The listing led me to believe I was renting a spacious self-contained, three-bedroom apartment with three balconies, but upon arrival, it was clear this was more of a shared accommodation setup. While we had exclusive access of most of the apartment during our stay, one of the three bedrooms was locked and out of use, and the entire place had a distinctly hostel-like feel — complete with printed notices about labelling your food and respecting "other guests," and other rules and regulations, which was jarring and not in keeping with the private rental experience I had thought I was getting. The only balcony with any furniture was accessed through the main bedroom, making it awkward and disruptive if others wanted to sit outside while someone was resting or seeking privacy. To make matters worse, the furniture was worn and uncomfortable, so it wasn’t an inviting space to relax anyway. The blind in the main bedroom was broken too, which meant bright sunlight woke the person staying in that room early each morning. There were other issues with maintenance e.g. kitchen cupboard doors hanging off. Adding to the discomfort was the presence of CCTV in the hallway — something we weren't aware of initially, and which felt invasive once we noticed it. The apartment itself was also quite dark and claustrophobic. Aside from the main bedroom, there were no outdoor-facing windows, resulting in very little natural light. Also, the instructions sent in advance were for a completely different property, causing confusion around things like the WiFi code and expected amenities (e.g., electric blinds that didn’t exist in this unit). But overall, it was just not what I thought I was booking, and certainly not what I would have chosen had the listing been clear about the nature of the space. The whole experience felt disappointing.
