Amazing

Lovely and cosy house, fully equipped kitchen along with a thoughtful welcome basket with goodies for everyone including the dog! All beds were comfy with good quality bedding and towels too. Was in regular contact with the owner in the run up to our stay, Jo sent over loads of information in regards to things to do and places to go along with checking in details and always replied promptly with any questions I had. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a central location to explore the area, we will definitely be booking again. Thank you for such a relaxing stay x

We had a lovely relaxing 4 nights.

Nicely furnished comfortable and clean.

For three pensioners the top floor bathroom was not the most accessible. We only had one car but could not use the parking space as it was way too small for a medium sized car, as there was no room to manoeuvre into the allocated space.

Close to restaurants and seafront.

Jo, the owner kindly called me before our stay, to answer my queries about parking and the swimming pool. The pool is at the local leisure centre, fee payable, and the parking space, suitable for a small car is it the rear of the property. There are several good restaurants also shops a few minutes walk away as is the seafront.. The town is very quiet in the evening. Comfortable and clean, nicely laid out. Good kitchen and lounge.

Perfect

Perfect location, nice size living room area open plan well equipped kitchen including all appliances. The beds were very comfortable. Having a dedicated parking space was very handy indeed and also permit for a second car was generous as it could be used in local car parks.

Not much at all, the upstairs twin room is only suitable for children as the ceiling is very low and the bathroom door not full height. This was’t a problem for is as our young grandaughters slept up there.

Lovely location. The kitchen was really lovely and the instructions given were great. Very comfy bed at front of the house.

We couldn’t use the very top of the house as the ceilings were low but would be good for children or younger adults.

Fabulous stay at Seahouses, the cottage was perfect and close to all shops and restaurants.

I loved the location close to the shops and restaurants and the decor of the house was very good. The kitchen and lounge are wonderful with a great dining table and real log fire should you need it. The master bedroom is large and comfortable and the back bedroom is quiet and peaceful.

Sadly, the only thing I did not like was the mattress, I have a back injury and need a medium to hard mattress, this mattress was soft, and the springs were digging in to me every time I moved. I had very little sleep on my 3 nt stay, but when I mentioned this to the owner, she informed me that she was unaware of how bad the mattress was and ordered a brand new one straight away for the cottage. I am sure the future guests will be very happy with a new mattress in the second bedroom.

Parking a bit of an issue but that goes for the whole street ! A few bumps of the head in the loft bedroom as the roof joists are quite low but none of these reasons would stop us staying again !

This is well described in the information that this is a traditional fishing cottage so the stairs are tight and so is the parking space if you have a mid size car.

Great cottage.

Great cosy cottage in a very convenient location for both the shops and the harbour. Lovely and clean, warm and very well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. Big bonus is the parking at the venue, the parking permit for other car parks and the membership for the leisure centre.

The property was like a lovely home from home. Everything you could need was provided and being dog friendly was a bonus. We stayed on the coldest weekend ever! The cottage was so cosy and also provided lots of wood for the fire which kept us all toasty! We needed to get in touch with the host who responded very quickly and resolved the issue so quickly. It is minutes walk from town centre and harbour and we would all definitely recommend this cottage

Enjoyed our stay in Northumberland.

Very Comfy beds. Lots of household extras available. Good choice of TV. Nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Nicely decorated. It is a very comfy living room area with side tables. the house was very clean and tidy. We couldn't find crockery when we arrived and phoned the letting manager who came within 5 mins and found what we were looking for.

The Steep Narrow stairs up to bedrooms, some people would struggle to get up/down the stairs. The bedrooms/bathroom on the top floor are only suitable for children due to the low sloping ceiling, thankfully we didn't need that area. The parking space was very tight, thankfully no other car was parked beside ours otherwise we would have struggled to get our car out. We each had 1 bath towel but I would have liked a hand towel each too for our hair.

Amazing, lovely house for a break in Seahouses

The property is lovely, in a fantastic location, so close to the main centre of Seahouses and the marina. Little touches such as the bottle of wine and dog biscuits really made for a warm welcome. The quirky little doors in the top floor added to the fun for our daughter - she likened it to Alice in Wonderland!

We have no complaints.

Over priced for what it offers.

A clean cottage Very near the town. Takes dogs

*Lighting was very poor. Only one bedside light in each bedroom!!! why!! Lighting downstairs in living room was very dark, needed more lamps in order to read and I have 20 20 vision. *Confusing instructions re the recycling- needs to be improved. *Parking - quite economical with the facts, it is, in fact, a very tight small narrow lane at the back of the cottage, luckily when we were there there was only one other car, so we were ok, but if all the spaces were occupied - would be extremely difficult especially as each cottage has erected metal bars or signs to mark their area - very territorial!!! *Dripping tap in the kitchen. *Kitchen clock was still on BST (we altered it!!!) while the clock in the living area showed the correct time!!! *The 3rd bedroom on the 2nd floor, is unbelievably small and claustrophobic, only suitable for very very tiny people, yet is portrayed in the information as having "amazing space" and in my opinion, it's completely misrepresented. *Front garden littered with cigarette ends- maybe from next door who regularly rests on the joint fence smoking, or maybe from previous guests.

Lovely little house, very nicely decorated, very clean, very comfortable and all mod cons in the kitchen. Chocolate, wine and a Sands Cottage shopping bag as welcome gifts and a very friendly and helpful owner.
