An amazing home close to everything in Volterra.

This is a beautiful home and provided the perfect home base for our 3 night stay in Volterra. The kitchen was well equipped and our host was very good at explaining everything we needed to know. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable and the house is quiet. The views of the valley below are marvelous. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great but those not good with steps and / or reverse parking in tight spaces may need to reconsider

Extremely spacious apartment with all the facilities required. Gets the balance almost right between preserving the mid-century features (terazzo tiles throughout, glass doors and shelving) and bringing in modern comforts (eg multiple USB-A and C chargers). Both the main bedroom and secondary bedrooms are massive (for a Euro apartment) but the bonus is a third small bedroom. There is a fab formal sitting and dining, as well as a smaller meals and TV area. The views are superb, especially as autumn was setting in and the leaves were dropping. The pictures do no speak highly enough of this apartment. Perfectly positioned, just a 2 min walk outside of the ancient town so avoids the noise at night. For a Euro apartment the bathroom is big and the shower was hot and strong

The owner showed us how to reset the switchboard as it tripped when running both the washing machine and oven. Some eclectic touches missed the mark such as the print to the left of the entry door which doesn't really set the right tone for the stay - quite gory. Could certainly pare back some of the design touches as the do extend a further century or so earlier. Parking onsite is great but a little tight to reverse in to on a tightly curved road

A spacious and quiet homebase for a grand Italian adventure.

A lovely clean italian style house. Located excellently just outside of the main city or the fortress walls. A small walk away from a cute italian village with lovely food, coffee and people. Definitely a great starting point for a good vacation. Rent a car and you'll be visiting great Tuscany locations within an hour or two. (Florence, Pisa, etc.) After a great day, it's even better to come back to this house and relax with friends or family.

We were 3 female friends traveling together and we wanted a place with 3 separate bedrooms - and this was the one that had what we needed in Volterra

The street outside was changed to one way so if you missed the property you had to backtrack several miles

Wow, what an amazing property, excellent ambience, beautiful rooms, just amazing. Furniture and the vibe was really worth staying in the property. It was also so close 10 mins walkable to volterra casa torre toscano. Loved every bit of it.

Just outside the city wall in Volterra

Location great. Lots of room. Coffee pods and cookies were a nice treat. Pellet stoves were a bit of a challenge, but they worked to warm up the apartment.

unique place in a beautiful location

it was super clean and dust free- despite the many textiles and older furniture. we had two people with dust allergies in our group and no problems at all. the place is beautiful, very unique and original. staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay

Check-in and check-out was super easy, we got/left keys in the arranged spot. Parking was very convenient. We were located very close to the city, just a quick walk (5 minutes?) by the park. I wish we could stay longer! Apartment is as beautiful as in the photos, truly something extraordinary. Host left for us a lot of treats, wine, cookies and fresh grapes, that was super nice, thank you! Coffee express for capsules was also very appreciated :) I rate value for money as 11/10!

The apartment was extremely authentic. It felt like living a real Italian experience. It is well equipped with comfy beds and it is very spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and Vitorrio was very helpful and informative. The location is excellent within a very short walking distance from the centre of Volterra.

You need to get to grips with Italian recycling and rubbish collection!

We liked basically everything about our stay in Volterra. The flat is very spacious, nicely decorated and perfectly located. Communication with the host was also more than perfect. Highly recommended!

Good place to discover Volterra by foot and also as a starting point for trips to other Tuscan towns

Very good location. Own private parking. Easy to find. Very spacious. Big balcony. Fully equipped kitchen.

House looks a bit run down from outside. Not suitable for families with young kids as there are a lot of old, precious books and furniture in the house.
