The property is definitely dated but is very clean and it looked like minor renovations to the lobby and pool were going on during our stay.
The check in process was a bit of a cluster as the Vrbo booking email states that I would receive touchless checking in codes and my parking pass (ended up being $55 for two nights that wasn’t included in the Vrbo price) would be in our unit. Check in time at 4:00 came and we were 15 minutes away and I still hadn’t received a code to check in and the Vrbo automated messenger gave me a number to call the phoenix desk to get instructions. They never answered the phone or returned my messages. The guard at the gate (most helpful person so far) gave us the rundown that we had to go to the front desk of a different building in the same complex to get our check in info. Aside from the check in the AC in the unit struggled to keep at 70 degrees at night. Overall, the beach was nice (pretty windy/rough) and the pool was great for our son.
