About this villa rental
Absolute Paradise Villa is the very front villa located in Pineapple Village! It's comprised of three separate bedrooms and a main unit containing a living room, a full kitchen and a full bathroom. Each bedroom has its own full bath and exterior entrance and courtyard. Our Villa is located in Pineapple Villages Villas and is the closest one to both Smith Bay and Margaritaville Resort. It is an approximate one minute walk to the beach, as well as the public Margaritaville facilities.
The villa itself is 1800 square feet and can be rented in three configurations depending on the size of your party. You may rent the entire villa 3 bedrooms, rent the main unit and the two connected bedrooms, or you may rent the bedroom that only connects through the courtyard. The villa is extremely private, even though it is essentially in the middle of a major resort. Because of our location, there is gated entry as you must enter through the Margaritaville security gate. In addition, our units have gated courtyards filled with tropical plants.
The entire villa has been remodeled in 2019, including all new appliances, flooring, new split air conditioner units, luxury mattresses, bathroom vanities, bedding, cookware etc. There is a smart TV in each bedroom and the great room. Wifi is set up with a Google Mesh router to provide more consistent service. Each bedroom has a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. The main courtyard is approximately 800 square feet and has a bar that opens to the kitchen, a space for outdoor dining/entertainment, and is the primary gathering space. There is also a laundry room located adjacent to the courtyard that has a new front-load washer and dryer available for use to anyone that rents the entire villa or the main unit.
The villa provides spacious accommodations and the proximity of Margaritaville is a nice amenity. However, the real attraction is the islands themselves. FIrst, ALL beaches on the island are public by law. The villa is located in Smith Bay, which offers restaurants/bars, in addition to swimming with dolphins. Coki beach is on our peninsula, just a five minute walk from our villa and one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You can enjoy snorkeling over a reef reliably full of colorful fish due to the location of Coral World park and their habit of feeding them twice a day. You can also scuba dive off Coki beach as there is a seventy foot shelf. They allow you to become PADI certified and also arrange dive trips around the islands. For those of you not that adventurous, there are numerous local beach bars providing food and island drinks.

3 couples stayed for 3 nights. Extremely happy with our decision to stay here. It is a perfect location and we couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. The place had everything even to the finest details. The beds were comfortable, room temperatures perfect, spacious, location and cleanliness great. The communication was solid and responsiveness very expedient. Karen is a great host.

We stayed here as a group to celebrate multiple friends birthdays from Friday to Monday! Mostly everything about our stay was great! However, the shower temperatures were the biggest issue. The first night all was well but by the second night; only the shower near the kitchen had warm water while the other two showers were very cold. I contacted the host about this who said the plumber would be by to take a look but this never happened. By the 3rd night all 3 showers were with cold water. The host claimed it happens if multiple people take showers at once but that also wasn’t the case during our stay. Overall, we definitely had a great stay and would recommend to others as long as the shower temperature issues are addressed!

Spacious, comfy but did not find it clean upon arrival and I had to clean when I got there. Steps to the water? Not the water in front of Margaritasville.. definitely not going in that water, however a short walk to Corki. You will need to get dropped off if you have small children. At this beach you are constantly harassed by the locals who are trying to sell everything from brackets to weed but it is very pretty we had a nice time there. The pool was very nice but Margaritaville was not all it was hyped up to be. Food was subpar and carful … tip is included. Back to the villa … we had the main house and a separate villa which had a beautiful bedroom and a kitchenette. It was perfect for my daughter and her spouse … they had there own space. My two grandkids stayed in the main house with my husband and I. The kitchen had all we needed to cook the TV area and dining area was nice with plenty of room. The villa is laid out nicely there was plenty of room for 4 adults and two kids and two more would have fit in the bunks off the kitchen. Patio areas were just ok … white patio cushions had black mold in them … overall with some fine tuning this place would have been a lot better but I get it the owners are off site so they have to count on their cleaning people to be honest and do a great job.
As far at ST Thomas goes I will not be back. Long flight for just beach … and the food that is available is low quality for high price . Terrible! We even went to a grocery store and decided to cook our own only to find low quality food. And if you are not adventurous you will DEFINITELY will not like driving around there. On the wrong side off the road and steep curvy crazy roads lol. To me and my husband it was nerve wracking. I personally did not drive the entire trip.
We went to St. John a few days which was basically the same just different beach spots. But it had a nice mall area.
The host was very nice and helpful.
Best advise … don’t come here for the food! Come just for the beach. My daughter and her husband enjoyed this trip .. they are more adventurous than I am. 😂
