Great location, ideal for our needs and all in working order.
Could do with being a bit cleaner in areas like the shower room but that’s my high standard I have for our own house. Washing machine was filthy and so before I did a wash I put it on a clean cycle. But honestly if it’s something you provide then it maybe needs a good scrub.

Excellent location.
It would have been helpful to have a few additional essentials provided, such as extra bin liners, washing-up liquid, and more toilet paper. For a stay of four nights with four guests, one roll of toilet paper was not quite sufficient.

A cosy cottage on three levels. The sitting room was comfortable with a log burning stove. All facilities for self-catering were available. The property appeared clean and tidy. A modern bathroom and kitchen. The cottage was well placed for Windermere and Ambleside
On the day of my departure, all towels & bed linen were stripped and placed in a plastic bag for the cleaners as requested by the owners. On removing the fitted sheet from the bed it revealed a really badly soiled/stained "mattress protector" cover, that I can only assume were body fluids
