Everything is perfect, from the decor, the beautiful location, the amenities and last but definitely not least, the staff. I loved staying there and, actually, it makes it so easy for tou to relax and feel welcome that you have a hard time leaving.
You have great breakfast, prepared with care and attention by the staff on site, welcome drinks, a sufficiently varied manu throughout the day. You have the pool, different places to relax from, the indoor pool and spa as well.
The place is dog friendly, and my dog was so well treated and happy to run in the garden and play. Albus, the canine host, is charming yet nonchalant enough to not disturb anyone, human or dog 🥹

Beautiful property, brilliant facilities, the staff were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble at all. First class all round. Also a lovely touch to provide free transport in and out of the town. Albus the resident pup is the star.
The shower in our room was a bit weak but this was a very small concern.

We only stayed at Relais Villa dei Gelsi for one night but would love to have stayed much longer. The hotel has so much charm; our room was large and beautiful, over looking a terrace and garden; we enjoyed an evening aperitif by the pool and a wonderful breakfast before departing to continue on our road trip. We would love to return again when we can stay longer.
