It was our first time to Hilton Head. Very nice place with a very good location. Recommended.

This was our first time staying in Villamare and we loved the pretty landscaping, pool and proximity to the beach. Parking is challenging due to tight spots in their underground decks. Our unit had some housekeeping missteps which Mgmt was quick to address once we called them. However the unit was advertised as accommodating 8 people and was not prepared with sofa bedding, towels, storage or basic appliances (mini 5 cup coffeemaker) for a group that size. Toaster and coffeemaker were cheap. No room at all to keep our food items. Our biggest complaint was that the window verticals were missing many slats in both bedrooms and living room, making it impossible to sleep past the crack of dawn. Mgmt said they’d send someone out to repair but no one came the entire week. We went during the height of busy summer season and paid top dollar for this unit, but didn’t feel it was worth it.
