'Fern Cottage' Island Escape with Rainforest View!

Super cute place, easy access, and clean!

Had some trouble with the fridge but other than that everything was great!

We had a fantastic stay at Fern Cottage. The location is ideal, just 5–10 minutes from Volcanoes National Park and close to restaurants and shops in Volcano Village. The cottage felt cosy and homely, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of blankets, and hot showers that were perfect after a day of hiking. We loved sitting out on the decking with our morning coffee, surrounded by peaceful rainforest sounds. The host was kind and welcoming, and the facilities, including the gas cooker, had everything we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

N/A

The apartment was amazing accept for the German Shepard in the next apartment. They didn’t keep it on a leash so I had to be careful when I took my Yorkie out. The beach was terrible

The beach. We went to swim and fish. We couldn’t do either. The beach waves were terrible and full of seaweed. We spent 1800 on the apartment and still had to drive 30 minutes away to fish off the causeway. We live in St. Petersburg and could have done that at home. I never got to get in the water at all.
