We stayed at this hotel for two nights in August 2025 as a family, occupying two rooms with a connecting door.
Our first impression was at check-in, where we waited ten minutes for a receptionist to fix a computer with a lost internet connection.
The rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, but they had a few notable problems. Our rooms were located directly above the main entrance, which meant cigarette smoke from guests below came straight into our rooms. We had to keep our windows shut and rely solely on the air conditioning.
One of the bed lamps was broken.
The bathrooms were poorly designed. The sink was placed so close to the wall that it was difficult to use the faucet. There was no dish for bar soap, no cup for toothbrushes, and no tissue paper. The bath products were very basic, consisting only of shampoo and liquid soap, with no conditioner or lotion.
One afternoon, we returned to our room to find the cups we used for our Greek coffee had been poorly washed—likely by hand—as coffee stains remained.
The hotel does not have a reserved parking lot, only paid street parking which was always full. We had to park illegally just to drop off our luggage.
The breakfast was good and offered a variety of choices. The coffee machine produced terrible coffee, though the juices were nice.
The luggage room is in the basement, but the elevator doesn't go that far. Guests are required to carry their heavy suitcases down and back up a full flight of stairs.
The hotel location is very good.
Overall, I wouldn't consider this a boutique hotel, and its high online score seems questionable.

Before leaving the room at 10:00 AM, I switched the “Do Not Disturb” sign to “Please make my Room.” However, when I returned in the evening, I found the room was not cleaned or properly prepared as expected. I needed to take a shower and rest. I contacted the reception asking for housekeeping service, but I was informed there was no on-duty housekeeping staff available to handle the issue. Instead, they only provided towels and garbage bags.
Is it reasonable for me to handle these tasks myself? This is highly unprofessional and unethical behavior from an establishment that claims to be reputable.
