Hidden Treasure

The apartment had a lovely view over the harbour from the kitchen window - and especially from the little outside (and partly covered) terrace. The terrace had a good sized table, and comfy 'tuck under' chairs. It's only a 5 minute walk from the property into the heart of Brixham. Hidden Treasure is the ground floor of a multi storey property, with entry from the back (harbour side). It was clean, well equipped and comfortable and had lots of homely touches (practical and decorative), too. We also had use of a parking space, in the driveway at the front of the property.

On arrival, we struggled to find the parking space and then had to check that we were in the right spot. Based on a previous review, we decided to take an extra duvet. As it was a chilly week, it came in very handy (although we could also have used the spare blanket that was provided).

Good location, near harbourside via steps. Owner left a bottle of wine and some tea, coffee, biscuits and gold coins.

A little confusion about how to access property but resolved easily. Access along pathway was along gravel and not easy with a heavy suitcase. Settee uncomfortable. Extractor fan in bathroom not effective, and shelf above makes using basin difficult, Whole place does feel somewhat damp, luckily our weather was good and were able to leave towels outside to dry. Good that owner provides towels but they are rather small.

Welcome bottle of wine plus basket of bits you might of forgot ,was a lovely touch

The sofa in the front room was very uncomfortable and the cooker was very basic

Beautiful location, near to the harbour. Great room, clean , comfy bed, parking at the property.
