a great little cottage

slightly tricky access with a large car to parking but not a problem

Enjoyable stay in a lovely village. Real fire was a highlight for us.

Location was perfect with local shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Also, dog walks from the doorstep which we liked. Lots to see and do in the local vicinity as well. We went to Bamburgh and to Ford.

The kitchen was a bit small but had everything your needed. There was a table but we did not use it. Parking was a bit tight getting in and out but the home owners had left a handy hint to make it easier.

Lovely stay in a perfect location, a clean and welcoming property in a great part of the UK.

Wooler is a great little market town with a lot of small independent businesses including a bakers, butchers, chocolate shop, art gallery , gift shops antique shops, cafes, a whisky distillery, restaurant and a well stocked co-op. You can walk from the door into the hills or make a short drive. Walks are peaceful and you rarely see many people. Popular tourist destinations- Holy Island, Berwick, Cragside NT, Bamburgh are all within a half hours drive. The property itself is in a very quiet location with no traffic noise just the chimes of the church clock.

I would have preferred the bedding and and towels not to smell of fabric softener/ detergent- if you don’t like the scent you are stuck with it.

Excellent - we’ll be back for sure.

Location superb- 5 minutes walk to the Town. Sparkling clean, wipes and antibacterial provided. Scones & jam provided on arrival with milk and tea bags- lovely touch!

Great location, cosy and immaculate.

This is such a wonderful cottage - a one-minute walk from the village shops, and a ten-second drive from the main road. And yet, so peaceful and calm! The living room is spacious but cosy and the bed was super comfortable.

Only problem was the parking Not really clear exactly where you could park out back of cottage Other cars were there on a daily basis Plenty of parking on street so parked there to avoid confortation
