Although the room has no view of the ocean, the property is sea front and you just walk out the door to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean. The flat is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The hosts were very friendly, and supplied us with one batch of free braai wood (although we did not use this).
You can sit out on the lawn with a cocktail and watch the ocean.
The place was very neat and tidy.

This unit is not anything as advertised and clearly some people are happy with something like this, unfortunately one of my worst bookings on Booking.com.
The ”Seaview from terrace” in misleading because the terrace is obviously only for the occupants of the main house and why mention this then. You could just say “Step across the road and you’ll find yourself on the beach”.
There is no gas stove as shown in the photos and only a two-plate gas burner, and no electric kettle as shown in the photos.
The room smells musty, the linen doesn’t smell fresh and laundered, the pillows are the worst and cheapest one can buy and the duvet inner… no words. A large water stain above the bed made one feel like there could be damp and that this is what you smell. Only thing that seemed clean, new and freshly laundered was the towel.
The fact that the rate is advertised and then conveniently R350 cleaning fee is added is unacceptable. For a clean and fresh stay, yes one can pay for cleaning but in the condition that I found it, not justified.
The unit and inner courtyard are hidden at the side and back of the property and clearly previously a storeroom or used for the domestic cleaner’s quarters. Luckily, I only had one night at this establishment because I’d hate to stay there for longer.
This property would benefit greatly from professional staging and styling to help secure great reviews and maximise its income-earning potential.
