Nice owners. The stay feels very homey and the place was pretty clean.
You don’t get complete privacy in your bed but, decent enough (you can roll down a curtain). The beds are quite hard (I didn’t mind, but if you do please keep it in mind)
They let me store my luggage after check out.
The owners like to keep it clean inside. So they are strict with the no shoe policy and I had to clean the wheels of my suitcase before entering. (I didn’t mind it too much but if you’re not a fan of this custom please consider it)
They check in and check out times could limit you.
Metro stations are about 8/10 minutes by foot, doable but rough if you have to carry your luggage.

The property had a really nice common area and kitchen making socialising / meeting people really easy. It has a very warm and welcoming vibe to it. The bathrooms and toilets are also all clean. Sheets are provided for the bed.
The location of the hostel is a bit inconvenient. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the station which in the snow can be quite slippery and dangerous. The bedroom itself is also quite small and a bit dated. You also had to pay to use the AC which sucked. The owner’s themselves were nice but not very welcoming or talkative. They also live in the hostel which was a bit weird.

It was in a very beautiful neighborhood and near Aoto station which made it easy to commute. I really loved the area and the rivers!
The top bunk beds had no curtains or any kind of privacy, you also couldn't hang anything up yourself either. The host did his morning round of trash can cleaning before 10am when people were still sleeping. The shower and toilets were dirty and the kitchen also didnt feel too clean. The showerroom was full of mould... The host also smelled like alcohol quite often
