Summary:
Serene wooded setting with seasonal mountain views. Amazing location that is only a 6 minute drive to the Carinthia Base Lodge and close to restaurants. Great place to work remotely from with high speed internet of 50 mbps download and 30 mbps upload! ** Brand new hot tub added November 2023! **
The Space:
This home features an open floorplan, beautiful exposure with lots of sunlight, open kitchen and dining area, large family/entertainment room with vaulted ceilings and wood stove, spacious living room, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, hardwood floors, master bedroom and living space, expansive deck perfect for entertaining, fire pit and patio.
Other Things to Note:
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age.
- Primary guest will be required to execute a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking the property or the reservation will be subject to cancellation. If you enter the property without signing the rental agreement, you agree to all terms of the rental agreement.
-During the winter season, you can expect snowy conditions, icy roads, and occasional snowstorms. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle is required to book this property. Please exercise extra caution when driving and ensure your vehicle is adequately prepared for snowy conditions.
-Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss.
-We are unable to make any exceptions from our cancellation policy. We recommend that you explore traveler's insurance as a means to safeguard your travel plans.
-Damage waiver- The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to a limited amount, as specified in your rental contract, for Property damage (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.

Overall this is a delightful property. The owners have clearly made a huge effort to think of everything. The kitchen is outstanding with every necessary item not only provided but also selected for quality and durability. The home is extremely comfortable with a beautiful outlook from most rooms. Greg the host was extremely professional and thoughtful in providing not one but two Christmas trees for our stay. Thank you Greg! He was also very available with any queries we had about the property. Sleeping arrangements are simple but efficient. The property has a steep driveway which under normal circumstances would not be a problem - however we were there during a very cold period which saw the driveway freeze. This made vehicle access nearly impossible and pedestrian access also challenging. The house did supply salt and sand which was a great help. Thank you again to the owners and host for thinking of everything.
