Ok experience that does not live up to expectations.

The location is great, with the neighborhood offering everything you need within walking distance. The Wi-Fi is good here. All in all, it is a decent place to stay if you're going to spend a few days in Lyon. The heating works really well, so if you're traveling during a colder time of year or the rainy season, you can keep that in mind. There's also a clothes iron, which is great if you're planning to attend the opera and want to look your best. The apartment features three mirrors—a regular mirror in the bathroom, a makeup mirror for close-up tasks like applying eyeliner, and a full-length mirror in the living/bedroom. The bathroom is surprisingly large for such a small place, but only if you close the door. When we arrived, the place smelled like bleach, which is a good sign—they do clean here—and the linens and towels smelled like soap. Note that the apartment is on the first floor—one level above the ground floor, which is designated as floor zero.

However, I would advise looking for another place if you plan to stay longer than a few days. While there are plates, pots, and pans, they all have Teflon coating that previous renters have heavily scraped; I wouldn't use them to cook anything serious since damaged Teflon can be bad for your health. Unfortunately, there wasn't a kitchen towel to dry the dishes with, and you have to dry them because there's no space to leave them out to air-dry. The heater in the living room is a bit dusty, so if you turn it on, it smells a bit bad. The shower is a very awkward, and you have to be really careful not to get water on the floor; it would greatly benefit from a shower curtain. Also, if you leave the apartment for more than a few hours with the bathroom door open, there's a slightly odd smell like stagnant water everywhere. Even though they clean here, they aren't really thorough. You'll find dust in a lot of places and dirt and debris in all of the furniture crevices—even the mattress. Don't look too closely at things because you'll find stains on every textile possible, especially on the bed. Yes, the sheets are washed, but they just aren't pretty. They should use white bed sheets as it is the standard everywhere else. Also the mattress cover was quite unpleasant. It peculiar to me that you are paying for the cleaning service but the results is this unsatisfactory. It seems to me that the owners are very purposely skimping on money with this place. The mattress consisted of only a single layer that at first seemed comfortable but was actually quite bad for the back and the whole body. And as mentioned the pots and pans are quite poor. The was also a lamp with a broken lampshade that wasn't fixed. I feel disappointed in this place since it has great potential but it doesn't live up to it.

Nice appartment, good size, confortable bed. Well connected by public transport. Good bakery in the area and supermarkets near by.

The appartment looks quite new but needs a little bit of maintenance. The curtain bar was broken which prevented opening one of the curtains, and the bathroom had a smell problem.

Nice little apartment in Lyon Vaise

This is a first floor flat in Lyon Vaise, right next to the Vaise train and metro station. Plenty of shops nearby, like a supermarket that closes at 10pm. At certain days, there is a cute little food market just around the corner..! With very decent prices. Love the bell tower, that starts chiming from 9am. The Rhone river is just around the corner, a five minute walk. Do try the Velo-v cycles you can rent at the station or the river, you won't need to download an app, just using your credit card is enough! And at 4 euro per day, it's anything but expensive. Cycling to the heart of town will take around twenty minutes.

Cleanliness, silence, comfort. There is everything you need to spend a few days in comfort.

I did not have a washing machine, shower curtains and hooks for clothes at the front door. The pillows are not very comfortable. But if you stop by for a couple of days, these inconveniences are not significant at all.

De base, vous avez passé un super séjour, j’avais fait un énorme ménage dans leur établissement, la femme de la réservation m’avez même laissé un message que j’ai encore en me remerciant, et en me disant que vraiment avoir quelqu’un de propre comme ça c’était très rare, sauf que au moment de me rendre ma caution, ils ont eu énormément de mal, je n’ai jamais récupéré ma caution tout simplement parce que apparemment Bah j’ai laissé l’appartement sale maintenant

Très bonne localisation, bons équipements, personne super réactive.

Il faudrait investir dans un lit plus confortable. Et surtout voir pour se débarrasser de l’odeur d’égout provenant de la salle de bain et qui empeste dans tout l’appartement. Il faudrait également ajouter un rideau de douche ou une porte à la douche pour éviter une inondation de la salle de bain après une douche.
