Downtown Charleston, which is known for its lovely architecture, storied history, and renowned restaurants, is only 11 miles north.

Location was perfect because it was central to everything we wanted to do. Beach was five minutes away. Pool was great for the children. View was unbelievable.

First, working with the rental agent Vacasa was terffic. They were very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was fine. Folly's Beach is busy and parking difficult so it was terrific to be close enough to walk to the beach or downtown for dinner and not move our car. Had a couple of windy days during our trip and the pool was the place to be. The beds are comfortable and showers great. It is an older place, but it is very comfortable and very clean.

Kitchen/baths need serious updates, as does the furniture overall. Amenities at Mariners Cay are great but would probably choose a different condo next time.
