Location, cottage was well designed. Cosy. A little cramped with three adults.
Couldnt get wifi or TV to work, hosts were on it quickly but we had already left by then. Gardener came to the main house and was working near to us so didnt feel very private at times. Couldnt find the iron even though it was listed as having one.

This was a tiny cottage with a big heart. Quirky, but amazingly designed for a small space. Very comfortable, everything we needed, and a lovely space outside where we sat and had drinks in the evening (it was our wedding anniversary), then ate our breakfast the following morning.

Despite having a very tiny footprint, there is a spacious and restful feel, especially in the lovely weather we had with the doors open allowing easy use of the terrace table. Thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. Good shower.

The property was as described. No more no less.
Access to the property was from 3:00pm. We eventually gained access at 3:20pm as the property was still being cleaned. Given that Lewes is the nearest town to Glyndebourne Opera (operating May to August every year) and the gates to Glyndebourne open at 3:00pm this was very inconvenient. Also a little milk in the fridge would have been nice.
