we enjoyed a wonderful two weeks vacation there and hope to get back next year.

We actually liked everything about the appartment. We stayed in Apt. 2, which had a nice well kept garden with a comfortable sitting place which we could enjoy during the whole day. The owner was very helpful and kind and welcomed us upon our arrival. There is a parking place just in front of the building ( charge of Euro. 8.-- for each day) and a big supermarket 5-7 minutes walk. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the basement for free use any time of day and night. Singen is well situated for travelling to Switzerland and in Germany, i.e. Konstanz, and other very nice places around.

Eine klasse Woche hier verlebt.

Industrie- und Arbeiterstadt Singenn - nie hätte ich gedacht, dass man von dort aus so klasse Tagesausflüge unternehmen kann. Durch den nahegelegen Bahnhof fuhren wir gratis mit Bus oder Zug nach Radolfzell und Konstanz. Für kleines Geld sogar bis nach Zürich und zurück, einfach toll! Die Wohnung ist geräumig, der Balkon auch. Unseren Wagen parkten wir in nahegelegenen Parkhaus.

Eine funktionierende Klimaanlage befindet sich im Wohnzimmer. Leider fehlt sie im Schlafzimmer. Die Gardinen sind durchsichtig und die Aussenjalousien verdunkeln nicht gut. Da hätte ich gern Verdunkelungsgardinen o.ä. gehabt.

Vier Sterne, mit Luft und Potenzial nach oben…

Wir wurden von dem GF persönlich und sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Es gab einen Kaffee zur Begrüßung und sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants von ihm. Danach begleitete er uns noch kurz ins Apartment und zeigte uns auch gleich, wie was funktioniert. Was wir sahen, wirkt auf den ersten Blick alles zunächst genauso wie auf den Fotos, wobei die Ausstattung in der Praxis in so manchen Punkten aber doch noch etwas Luft noch oben hat. (Siehe unten). Was auch sehr positiv war, dass zwischendurch auch per WA nachgefragt wurde, ob alles soweit passt und wir uns wohlfühlen.

Luft nach oben gibt es im Bad, WZ und SZ. Im Bad ist leider die Duschtasse extrem rutschig und birgt ziemliche Unfallgefahr! Auch ist die Beleuchtung zum Schminken nicht optimal, der Kosmetikspiegel unbrauchbar positioniert und der Spiegel selbst leider viel zu weit weg. Die gesamte TV-Ecke im WZ ist im Superior-Garden-Apartment abends überhaupt nicht ausgeleuchtet, man guckt beim Fernsehen leider nur in ein dunkles Loch. In den Betten fanden wir die Matratzen ungemütlich hart und leider überhaupt nicht so wie wie beschrieben. Hochwertige, orthopädische Matratzen passen sich üblicherweise dem Körper hervorragend an… hier ist es umgekehrt, der Körper muss sich leider der zu harten Matratze anpassen, beim Versuch da irgendwie eine gemütliche Schlafposition zu finden. Und im 3. Zimmer ist die Matratze übrigens mit einer weißen Plastikfolie bezogen, auf die dann das Bettlaken draufkommt… zumindest hat die Putzfrau das vor unseren Augen so gemacht… ungewöhnlich und leider auch sehr wenig atmungsaktiv, oder? Liebe Grüße 🖖 und nichts für ungut! Die Verbesserung des einen oder anderen Punkts sollte u.E. eigentlich nicht so schwer sein… der Anspruch ein 5-Sterne-Haus sein zu wollen, ist schließlich ja da.
