Moro 34

I had a wonderful stay at Moro34 and I would definitely recommend it. The location was perfect for us, right in front of Bari Centrale, which helped a lot with our day trips. We used the train for visiting other cities, and the station was only a few minutes away from the accommodation. There was also a bus stop right in front of the building, which was very convenient when we wanted to go to the beach. During our stay, we usually took morning trips to nearby places, came back around 2–3 PM to rest, and then went out again in the evening to walk around Bari Vecchia and the city center. The walk to the old town was easy, around 10 minutes. As in any busy Italian city, you should still watch your belongings, but honestly, I felt safer in Bari at night than I did in Rome, even when I stayed near the Colosseum. The location was especially useful because Bari was very hot during our trip. After a day at the beach or after walking a lot in places like Alberobello, it was so nice to get off the train and be back at the accommodation within just a few minutes. I personally would not have enjoyed walking 15–20 minutes in the heat with bags or after a long day. The host was also very kind and thoughtful. We found free coffee, a welcome bottle of water, some snacks such as croissants and jam, tea and juice. These little details made the stay feel even more comfortable. Overall, I loved my vacation in Bari, and staying right in front of Bari Centrale made everything much easier and more enjoyable.

Michael & Innes wer very friendly & helpful… nothing was a problem. Flat was very well equipped. Location to buses & train station minutes away. Lovely 10 min stroll takes u to the old town.An ideal base for visiting places up& down the coast.

Can be a bit tricky to find but just follow address to the letter. This is not the owners fault but some of the stair lights did not work making it difficult to see stairs etc if u did not get the lift.

My husband and I spent 4 amazing days here at the end of May. We were so impressed with the location of this apartment. It was right by central station and near all the possible shops and restaurants. The old town is straight down the long street from the apartment where you can find some amazing pizza, pasta and seafood restaurants. It was within easy reach of the airport too. The apartment is very modern and tastefully decorated with a lovely spa-shower. Michele the host was so very helpful and attentive and made sure we were comfortable. He helped with some amazing restaurant recommendations and always replied promptly. Thank you Michele for a wonderful stay at your lovely apartment.

Terrific location, very close to Bari Centrale and not far from Bari's Centro Storico, with plenty of excellent restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. Host, Michele, was welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. We kept in touch with him via WhatsApp as we traveled to Bari directly from Chicago, first via flight to Rome, and then via train to Bari Centrale. We had a little trouble identifying the building upon arrival, but Michele was waiting for us close by so all was well! Excellent Italian coffee maker (makes expresso etc.) and high quality coffee pods in room. Sufficient good hangers, drawers, desk area, and small in-room refrigerator, too! Bed was comfy, and well-appointed (multiple shower options!) bathroom had multicolored lights which served us very well as a night light (we're both elderly & need toilet often!). Building has an elevator so no problem for moving luggage to/from. There's a small shared (between 2 rooms) "kitchen" with refrigerator, sink, dishes, utensils, counter, and microwave should you get takeout and wish to eat in, with some sweet yogurts & drinks, and prepackaged cookies, melba toast, nutella, jam should that be your preference for breakfast. Not our preference, but with such excellent in-room coffee, we were fine, and we appreciated having the option for eating in. Moro 34's location made it perfect for us - besides exploring Bari, we took the train to Polignano a Mar, Monopoli, and Baretta. In the evening, there was excellent nearby dining (we went to Frulez, and Giu a Sud), and it was fun strolling through Bari's Old Town at night, too. We loved our stay and Moro 34 was wonderful and so comfortable to return to in the evening!
