About this house rental
Welcome to Giggle Fish on Hood Canal! Our waterfront beach home is the ideal place to relax and take in the peaceful views of Hood Canal. With three bedrooms, it comfortably accommodates six people. Our property is fenced all the way around and is pet friendly. There are many places to relax, inside and out. With decks off both the beach cabin and the boat house, you can find both sun and shade during the summer months. The outdoor area offers plenty of seating, a fire pit, a lawn for playing, and easy access to the beach. In the winter months, the inside area is a cozy spot for relaxation. Play a board game, read a book, or cook a nice meal in our well appointed kitchen. From all the windows, you’ll enjoy watching the various wildlife from bald eagles, herons and other seabirds, to seals, sea lions, and even the occasional whale.
Just north of the town of Hoodsport, our location offers quick access to grocery and restaurant options as well as plenty of outdoor activities. There is wonderful hiking throughout the Olympic National Forest and at nearby lakes. Hoodsport is a scuba diving paradise, as we are very close to Sund Rock Marine Preserve. A short drive north brings you to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, a fun place to enjoy outdoor dining on local eats, or to purchase local shellfish. There are also golf courses and casinos nearby. Of course once you walk through the gate of the property, you may not want to leave!
*Please note that there is parking for 2 cars. Parking is between the fenced yard and Highway 101, and is narrow. *

The view from every room was spectacular! Spent most of the time on the huge deck where we saw a bald eagle the first morning. Also saw orcas and sea lions. And stargazing was amazing. We had plenty of room for our family of five and bonus was the incredible fenced yard so we felt very comfortable letting our two dogs roam, which they absolutely loved. Plus there was a scooper and hose for messes in the yard. Loved the bonus boat house bedroom and access to the beach. The road was pretty busy on the weekend but the sound gets muffled by the sounds of the water. Great little town with grocery store nearby and excellent hamburger/teriyaki/ice cream place and the best little pizza place just a mile or so up the road. Checkin was easy, beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and did I mention the view!! Hoping to make this an annual vacay. Already miss having coffee on the deck staring at the water.

6 adults and 2 pups had a great time! Wish we could have stayed longer. We had all sorts of weather, but still enjoyed the fire pit through it all! The stars shone so brightly at night. We all want to come back in the summer when Hoodsport must be a hopping little town! Thank you for having us.
