Great location in a superb, beautiful setting. Walked 16 miles along The Dales Way to get to The George Inn where we received a very warm welcome. Good quality food served at the evening meal as well as breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.
Our bedroom and bathroom were a little bit cool despite the radiators being on.

The pub is an old inn in a lovely rural setting near the river and the very early church. Breakfast and dinner were great. The pub itself has a lovely historic ambience. There is also accommodation nearby that is more recent and less appealing.
The separate accommodation was perfectly functional but could do with an upgrade.
