Seacrest 1101

Unit is spacious and located on the ground floor. Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. Tastefully decorated and comfortable furnishings. Great location across the street from Coligny Plaza and Lowcountry Celebration Park. Starter soaps and shampoos are provided, plenty of dish washer and laundry detergent pods provided for our week stay. There are no beach towels provided, but there are beach chairs. We brought our own plastic dishes for the kids. We would recommend the unit to a large group.

Unit is a little loud in the mornings with elevator noise and also being right over the parking garage you can hear cars unlocking and engines starting. Not straightforward beach access - you either walk through the length of the neighboring building, or down and across the underground parking. The building itself is undergoing quite a bit of maintenance so there were pools not working, gated off walkways, etc. However it did not affect our stay and all of the workers we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. There was a lot of miscommunication with the unit owner that we unfortunately got caught in the middle of. Came back for lunch the day before checkout to find front door off the hinges, the unit wide open, metal shavings all over the floor, and ladders in the master bathroom! We cleaned the metal shavings, insisted the worker stop immediately and put the partially sanded door back on (he did not put the deadbolt back on). The property management company did not reply for 2 days which made our concerns of breaking and entry even worse. We are still missing a pair of earrings from the master bathroom. 2 days later we were informed the owner hired this contractor (not through the property manager) who was supposed to do the work after we checked out and the owner was onsite. Major miscommunication and inconvenience, the property management company never even stopped by to see what was going on which really surprised us.
