About this apartment rental
Unit #1 is an attractively and comfortably furnished fully air-conditioned, non-smoking, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom end unit ground floor apartment. It has a living and dining area open floor plan allowing for a cool and breezy setting and you will enjoy dining on the private sheltered patio.
The large en-suite master bedroom with a king-size bed has plenty of closet space as well as the second bedroom which has a queen-size bed. There is a second shared bathroom.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and finishes and laundry facilities. There is also a digital safe to store valuables.
Margate Gardens complex, complete with a spacious shared swimming pool and lush, tropical, beautifully maintained gardens, is a secure, gated, ideally situated condominium complex on the pristine south coast of the island. It is directly opposite Barbados’ first Boardwalk by the sea, complete with panoramas, seats and retreats and perfect for an early morning/late evening run/stroll. The location is ideally situated close to all south coast beaches and the popular Accra Beach is within walking distance as are some well-known restaurants such as Tapas, (directly across the street) Blakey's, Naru, Art Splash and Blue Pineapple. All popular and recommended. Next door to the complex is Lanterns Mall offering a variety of shops, a bank, a food court and convenience stores including a pharmacy. Golfing and other recreational facilities are also nearby
Public transportation is right outside the complex.
Rate includes: Local taxes and weekly maid service when linens and towels are changed and laundered.
There is a monthly Bds $300 cap on electricity charges for long-term stays

The apartment is great, very large, in a prime location right on the boardwalk and close to beautiful beach bars. We found the service provided by Raquel and Denise to be excellent and felt very comfortable. The pool is 15 seconds away from the terrace and very nice adequate. The parking lot is right in front of the complex. The kitchen is well equipped, although there is no dishwasher, but that didn't bother us. The air conditioning is perfect and the dryer and washing machine worked great. As I said, it was great and we'd love to come back :) .

This property was exactly as listed. It was comfortable and check-in/ check-out was seamless. Communication between the owner & property manager was great. There was a water main that burst while we were there but we never lost water due to the large tanks on the property which was wonderful. My mom accidentally left her handbag with 300 and a few other items. The owner quickly let us know and we arranged a pickup. We were extremely grateful for the honesty and kindness. We had an excellent stay, would definitely return and recommend this property.

What a find! My third time to the island and this property is a real gem. Perfect location, quiet, private gardens and pool complete with resident hummingbirds and tortoises.
Comfy beds, sofa and well equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dryer were a god send.
Great communication with Angela and Denise. Will def be looking to rebook!

We have stayed at Margate Gardens on 3 occasions at different apartments but this apartment is by far the best equipped we have stayed in. Everything you will need is in the apartment and the attention to detail is fabulous. Denise was great when we met her ( we were late due to our flight but that was not a problem) she talked us through everything we would need to know and we had her number if needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and all linens provided. This is a great location for a holiday in Barbados, close to shops, bars and restaurants as well as being so close to great beaches . We had a fantastic holiday and this apartment will not disappoint !!
