About this apartment rental
This lovely, top floor apartment is less than a minute's walk from the beach and south coast boardwalk. There are sea views from both bedrooms and the balcony.
The apartment is open plan and sliding doors lead out onto the balcony where you can enjoy the sea breeze while you eat. There is an LED TV and Bluetooth speaker so you can create your mood with your music.
Both bedrooms have A/C and ceiling fans. There is plenty of closet space and high thread count linens. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Modern UK Kitchen with SMEG oven(Stove) and Ceramic Hob , Microwave, Dishwasher, etc. Breakfast bar, swimming pool. Renovated throughout to a high standard with UK kitchen fittings etc.
It's very close to the shops, Tapas Restaurant and Blakey’s Bar. Accra Beach (the locals' favourite!) and the Garrison racetrack are just a few minutes walk away.
Very quiet, yet ideal for south coast and transport links to rest of island, hence no need for a car. Great location, fantastic place!
There is a fully equipped laundry room for washing, drying and ironing.
Secure parking, access to the car park and apartment is via electric gates.
Its is a Penthouse apartment on the 3rd floor (2nd floor in USA), part of a residential block of 9 Apartments. It is at the end of its own corridor.
There is dual voltage 220v for UK or 110v local or US appliances
Both beach and bath towels are provided and there is a weekly maid service.
The location is excellent, you can walk to the Lanterns Mall, where there is a small supermarket, bank and boutique shops. Some of the islands top restaurants are on your doorstep, With numerous great cheaper options on the beach between Blakeys Bar and beyond Tapas.
Twice a week there is a farmers' market just opposite the apartment, where you can buy fruit, vegetables, jewellery and souvenirs. The location also has a large play area for children and a smoothie bar where you can sit and look out over the sea.
The apartment is 1 min from the boardwalk where people love to promenade in the evening. The boardwalk takes you to the popular Accra beach with quaint little huts where you can grab local Banks beer or enjoy a rum punch. Or just lie on a sunbed and enjoy the turquoise ocean. There is also a restaurant/bar on the beach so you don't have to go far for snacks. Opposite is a great ice cream parlour where you create your own combinations.
You don't need a car as buses pass every couple of minutes and a short ride will take you to Bridgetown for duty free shopping. Or a four minute ride can take you to the local Cruising Club where for a small fee you can use all facilities for the day including kayaks and standup paddle board, instruction available on site too Also great mellow music on a Sunday evening out on the balcony, with a perfect photo opportunity of the setting sun, whilst you sip your rum sour.

This is a perfect place. It was clean, checking in and out was smooth. Communication with property manager was great and I can’t tell you enough that the location to everything was perfect. I highly recommend this property.

- great location, close to the beach, close to the squash club, close to the many restaurants and close to essentials/food stores
- second bedroom could do with some bed upgrades as our 2 (older) kids mentioned the beds were a bit uncomfortable

Had a great stay in Cloud 9. The apartment was well equipped and the location was excellent! One block off the Main Street and Boardwalk. Just about everything you'll need is within walking distance. Gwen was lovely and so helpful. In fact, she reminded us that she could've done more for us such as buying groceries before we arrived. When we come to back to Barbados we will definitely utilize her expertise more. She recommended a catamaran tour that turned out to be the highlight of our trip.
The condo was clean, bright and airy. No need for a/c when you open the windows and patio doors to catch the cross breezes. The pool was a great way to meet other condo renters. Families with children yet not overly noisy.
The building is gated which requires you to enter a code so the building is very secure. Not that you have to worry about it very much. The Bajan people were very polite and helpful.
Looking forward to returning to Barbados and when we do, cloud 9 is where we'll stay!
