Good for a night in Fiumicino

It is a nice place to stay if you need a night in Fiumicino. Everything was good accomodation wise. It was the location which was a bit of a downside, and a smell that kept appearing and disappering sometimes in the apartment. Otherwise, well above average. Lovely host.

Unfortunately out of the hosts control, but the taxi price to the airport for a 10 min drive is high. However, Uber does operate and does give the best price, from what I found.

I stayed only one night there and overall had a good experience

The host is very welcoming and waited me until almost 12am to check in. The flat is very big and well equipped and close to the airport, so it only takes about 10 minutes to travel to airport.

The only problem is that there are roaches in the house.

Nice, pleasant, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location. We were very satisfied.

The local transport is rather difficult. Few tips how to get there from the airport: the bus is going only to the centre of Fiumicino, price is 6 euro per person and you cannot buy tickets inside (nor by card nor by cash) - you need some local mobile application or, maybe, you have to find some coffee shop (?) in the huge airport. This is information from a bus driver, who left us on the bus stop . We were really tired, travelling from an expedition from a distant non-European country. It was a desilusion, because in that "underdevelopped"country local transport functioned well, the buses to nearest airport destination went often and it was possible to pay by the driver a reasonable price, and also there were enough taxis. People at the airport information office told me that they do not know anything about Fiumicino, even the time-table of local buses, because they focus only on Roma, what left me shocked (there were 3 information centre workers and I was the only client asking for advice). The airport taxis go mostly to Roma as well. Local taxis stayed in a line without drivers (no pedestrian crossing to them). According to one taxi driver, who went away, the price for these 6 km is 40 euros. The taxi phone number written in the acommodation did not work - nobody answered the call . There is no pavement for pedestrians from the airport to the town. (There were huge slogans about no-emissions, ecology etc. etc. in the airport....). We found the best way for a group of people (a family) with luggage or to directly rent a car or to use "Google maps taxi" (we used it next day to go to the airport, the price was 25 euros)-

good stay before the morning flight

The apartment is as on the pictures. Nice and spacious. I only staid one night before my morning flight. I was suggested a very nice restaurant by the owner, so I highly recommend Da Cacio e Pepe walking distance from the apt.

The street is a dead end so you'll need to go out all the way back. Beware that taxis in the area are still expensive! So to get to/from airport you'll need 25-30eur each way (despite 4km distance). The only strange thing was when I asked one more cover for my friend the owner said she has only one...

We were there for one night only. We had supper in a nearby restaurant recommended by the host. Very good restaurant

The only black spot was the transportation from the airport. We got ripped off by the Taxi that took us from the airport to the house. Take a local taxi to go to Fuminicio. When we arrived in Fuminicio there were no local taxis in Terminal 3 (local taxis have their own line). One of Rome's taxis "kindly" offered his services and we ended up paying for a very expensive ride. Ask the host to help you call a taxi and you will notice the price difference ($25eur vs $50eur)

The place was spacious and close to the airport. The host provided you with towels and toiletries.

The host charged me money for taking a taxi to her place and I'm not sure why. The wifi was not that great in the bedroom, but was ok in the kitchen. I was here in January and it was a bit cold in the apartment aside from the bedroom.

The host Maria contacted us upon our arrival at the airport. We arrived late at night and she welcomed us, gave us keys, showed the acomodation. We stayed one night only, in the morning Maria met with us also to say goodbye. The acomodation is closed to the airport and we used FreeNow app, the trip cost us 18-21 Euro.

We booked this facility after seeing all the positive reviews. But we were totally disappointed when we got to that location. Communication with the landlord was very challenging. In the property description, it was indicated that the property owner could communicate in English. But the fact is that she cannot even understand and speak basic English. Public transportation is a challenge. The only option is to hire a taxi. If you rent a car, parking can be a challenge. The nearest supermarket is 2 Km away. The toilet was a disaster and the flush didn't work. This place with basic amenities is ideal for one overnight stay over and is not recommended for families.

Everything were wonderful. Very nice friendly and cute owner meet us in Airport at night, helped with suitcases and transferred us at the morning to airport too. 7 min from airport. Very beautiful art apartments, high ceiling, beautiful view to the garden, good balcony. Everything you need in the room, even dishwasher and very comfortable king size bed. We will definitely come again. Thank you 🙏

Descontento con la ubicación y con las tasas.

El apartamento era espacioso y se nos ayudó con la llamada de un taci.

El aire acondicionado de la habitación no funcionaba (sin mando), el pago de las tasas no era claro y no había gel de ducha. Para ir al apartamento pagamos 35€ madrugada y 25€ por la mañana en taxis

Ho soggiornato qui per 6 giorni per sostenere un concorso alla fiera di Roma. La fiera è facilmente raggiungibile con l'auto che avevo a disposizione. Sufficienti asciugamani per il numero di pernotti.

E leggete anche la risposta arrogante dei proprietari a tutte le recensioni negative, per rendervi conto prima con chi avrete a che fare. - la cosa più grave è stato trovare 2 scarafaggi di notte nel bagno: ho urlato per lo spavento ed è accorsa in casa la proprietaria(che abita affianco) la quale anziché scusarsi mi ha aggredita sostenendo che stessi mentendo e invitandomi ad andarmene se non mi stava bene la casa (da notare che gli scarafaggi erano stati uccisi e uno era ancora sulla paletta e altre recensioni parlano di scarafaggi. Per la proprietaria mentono tutti e i recensori sono cattivi. - lo scarico del water non funziona: è espressamente scritto di gettare la carta igienica USATA in un bidoncino. Ogni volta abbiamo dovuto riempire una bacinella d acqua per fare andare giù. - la casa è sporca: abbiamo trovato peli e capelli di precedenti ospiti. Tantissima polvere. Ragnatele vicino le finestre. Il mobilio cade a pezzi (il frigorifero non ha ripiani di appoggio e sembrava avesse muffa). Non vengono effettuate pulizie o cambi durante il soggiorno. - le zanzariere sono bucate in più punti quindi le finestre non si possono aprire - il wi fi funziona solo fino a metà cucina - il condizionatore in camera da letto non funziona (ce n è uno più grande in cucina) - il materasso per il 3,4 e 5 ospite sono brandine in cucina, quello in camera da letto è durissimo ) - non ho ricevuto la fattura, il proprietario sempre con arroganza mi ha detto che la avrò entro la fine del mese (3 settimane per farne una?)
