We loved this apartment!!! The views to the ocean and sunsets are spectacular. The building is safe and secure. It was so wonderful having a few spices, olive oil and vinegars in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The pizza restaurant next door was fabulous. Coffee shops and other restaurants are very close, so are grocery stores and the forum shopping mall.
It takes about an hour to walk to the marina and center of town but we love walking so no big deal. There are buses and other transportation if you’re not a walker.

THE APARTMENT WAS FAB. VIEWS WERE INCREDIBLE. OVERALL WAS A GREAT APARTMENT AND I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. IT HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WE HAD A RENTAL CAR WHICH I WOULD RECOMMEND SO IT WAS EASY TO GO TO FUNCHAL AND OTHER SIGHT SEEING SPOTS ETC. THE BUS SERVICES SEEM TO BE PRETTY GOOD AS WELL.
Only thing I didn't like was the pillows on the king size bed. They were quite smelly and a couple of them were very flat. Also there were someone else's hairs in the cupboard and dirt.
I reported this to the landlord/ agent so it has probably been sorted. This did not detract from the fact that it is a really great apartment to stay in.

The apartment and the view.
Good location and restaurants and supermarkets close by.
Layout of the apartment gave us a nice relaxing living space
No guest book to inform us of the local area and the general facilities of the apartment block e.g. knowing where the rubbish goes and recycling facilities.

Vista mar e tamanho do apartamento. Café disponível, camas confortáveis, bem equipado.
Higiene a melhorar (rale casa de banho), otimizar o duche da suite (sem cortinado).
