Excellent location, within walking distance to all amenities in Southwell.
A cosy, little cottage that has kept its charm.
A lovely sun trap to sit and relax to the front of the cottage.
Quiet and private.
Nothing we did not like.
The only element was not having a duvet on the bed, just the empty duvet covers on all beds in the property.
I expect in the winter duvets are fitted.
It’s a cottage, therefore stairs were as expected, but might be difficult for any elderly guests.

Attention to detail was second-to-none. Communication with the host was quick and reliable. Presents and food on arrival was a very classy addition. Excellent!
There was nothing we didn't like but if I had to put something then maybe leaving a hoover available instead of a pan and brush would have made cleaning the kitchen floor a bit easier. But, that's not a big problem.

Attractive cottage in good location for Southwell Minster. Breakfast left for us OK, personally prefer simple porridge oats to the little cereal packets. Modern fit out of kitchen and bathroom.
It is small, and as I and indeed all four of us are tall, it feels very cramped, with care needed to avoid head injuries for two of us. The second bedroom is really very small and barely has room for the two beds. But with four adults in the house, there are only 3 sofa/easy chair spaces downstairs. Thankfully the weather was good and we were out all the time. One simple addition needed is towel rails - there is nowhere to hang damp towels in the bathroom or bedroom.
