    My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a fun experience. The water villas are like going back in time but instead with a modern and comfortable touch. We were greeted by Khun Gucchi at the front desk and she was so wonderful and helpful. Khun David helped us in with the bags and also with the shuttle to Railay and he was just so kind and amazing. We were also helped by Khun Maw and every time we saw him on site he was smiling no matter who he was with or what he was doing. The breakfasts we had were awesome everyday. We also had lunch at the cafe and it was so good. The whole resort is massive and it’s so beautiful just to walk around and take it all in. My only complaint is the bolts that hold the logs together are all cut and left sharp. Those could cause serious injury and need to be trimmed. We will be returning next year to stay agin.

    A beautiful place to stay. We had a 2 bedroom family villa which was really spacious and comfortable. The whole place is gorgeous to look at and we loved the large pool. The location is peaceful and away from it all: the free transfers were handy and it was easy and cheap to get a Grab if the times didn’t suit. Restaurant was good but not amazing (we found the Indian food to be better than the Thai) but there’s loads of other options nearby if desired.

    I stayed at Venice Krabi Villa Resort from 8th May with my two kids (12 and 14 years old), and unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst hospitality experiences I have had despite paying nearly ***. Before arriving, on 7th May, I had called the hotel and explained that we would be starting from Bangkok for the airport at around 3:30 AM and would be landing in Krabi around 9:30 AM. Since I was travelling with children after an exhausting journey, I requested an early check-in. I was informed that early check-in would be chargeable. Later, I also received an email saying early check-in would be “subject to availability” and that if rooms were unavailable, we could at least keep our luggage in the cloak room and use the facilities. We reached the hotel around 9:30 AM on 8th May. Initially, one of the reception staff, ***, checked and mentioned that rooms were available but only if we paid extra. When I referred to the email mentioning “subject to availability,” suddenly the story changed and I was told no rooms were available. I requested to speak to the manager and had to wait almost 35 minutes before she came. What followed was extremely disappointing. The manager clearly stated that rooms were indeed available, but they would only be given if I paid for early check-in. When I requested to at least keep my luggage in the cloak room as promised over email, I was told: - Lobby storage was at my own risk under CCTV - Cloak room storage was chargeable Shockingly, at the same time, I saw another guest being allowed to use the cloak room free of charge. The most disturbing part was when the duty manager, ***, told me: “If you promise not to leave a negative review, I can allow check-in at 2 PM. Otherwise, you will get the room only at 3 PM.” I was honestly stunned that hospitality was being negotiated against reviews. Meanwhile, my kids asked for drinking water around 10:40 AM after a tiring journey. We were told water would only be available at 11 AM unless we paid 60 baht. Refusing basic drinking water to children unless payment is made is unacceptable for any hospitality property, let alone one positioned as a premium resort. Eventually, exhausted and frustrated, I paid an additional 1500 baht around noon just to check in. Unfortunately, the problems continued: - The rooms were extremely hot and barely habitable initially - Engineering took nearly 40 minutes to arrive - It took almost 2 hours before the AC cooled the room properly Food quality was another major disappointment: - The pizza appeared to use a ready-made frozen base with excessive oil - Frozen naan was microwaved and served hard with Indian food - Breakfast juices were mostly canned, not fresh - Breakfast options barely changed across days - On one morning, I was told sourdough bread was unavailable because “supplier had not delivered,” only to see the same sourdough being served minutes later with toast orders Housekeeping was another nightmare during the stay. The upkeep of the room was inconsistent and nowhere close to what you would expect from a property charging premium rates. Given the overall experience — delayed support, poor responsiveness, AC issues, food quality concerns, and the general attitude of the staff — housekeeping only added to the frustration instead of improving the stay experience. At multiple points, I requested escalation to senior management or ownership. Nobody came to speak with us despite repeated requests. I even had to submit a written complaint physically at the property to document the experience. I also want to mention my disappointment with Agoda. Despite multiple calls and explanations during the stay, no meaningful intervention or support was provided. I was repeatedly told it would take 72 hours to hear back from the property. Finally, during checkout, my kids had accidentally packed some soiled clothes inside the hotel laundry bag. We were asked to pay 390 baht for a very basic laundry b
