Excellent space for a social gathering. Plenty of rooms and space for a large group of friends or family.
Not walking distance from local town and pubs. But, the re was a great information book with taxi numbers provided. This was very helpful.

Disappointing visit
Nice big house, good cooking facilities with a big oven. Bed in the apartment and one of the beds upstairs was very comfy.
All the floors in the living areas were dirty, we had to mop the kitchen floor. A lot of mess and rubbish left by previous guests under chairs and on cupboards. We couldn't find any spare bedding, it was very cold and drafty at night. Not enough towels for seven people. The bath leaked. No wood for fire. Window in one of the bedrooms wouldn't close so the room was freezing. Garden not secure enough for us with a small dog.

Beautiful location just off the coast path with views of the sea from the top terrace where there is some new planting. Three en suite bathrooms in the main house look relatively new and were in good condition. Looks as if ‘between stay’ cleans are completed at reasonable surface level but…..
As observed by earlier visitors this year in the guest book the house requires a top to bottom deep clean. Every window, blind, radiator and light fitting is festooned in dusty cobwebs as are many walls and units. Windows wouldn’t easily open to air rooms, bed protectors stained (nice find on last day), front entry greeted by a dead plant and dried winter leaves, back entrance a dirty ash tray and someone’s abandoned toys. Garden furniture all needs a jet wash, washing line and pegs need replacing having been left out all winter, grass needs cutting. Bathroom in lower apartment doesn’t have a window and the drains stink, we ended up leaving the lower main door open to try and clear the smell. No instructions left on how to reset the fuses when the apartment blew which requires you to open cupboards you’d rather not look in. Three main house mattresses need replacing as incredibly uncomfortable. Two sets of older family have gone home bruised and sore. Letting Agents were messaged through the app to discuss this before leaving an online review but didn’t come back to us. You’ll see from previous reviews we’ve never had such a disappointing stay anywhere before.
