Treetop Hideaway - Taupo Holiday Home

It was very thoughtfully equipped and the view is great!

Very low pressure in the shower and inadequate hot/cold control. The manual indicated that there would be fire wood available, but the only wood on the property was wet and rotten.

Location. Particularly how peaceful it was, & how close it was to the town centre. Liked the wood fire. The place had heaps of character. Kitchen very well supplied. Liked there were board games available. Thanks sooo much for the heatpump in winter.

The couch & lounge chairs weren't very comfortable. Would have been nice to either have another set of towels, or a dryer. Didn't like having to back out on to the road, but this was ok really, given the location.

The coffee/sugar was hard in the containers, there wasn’t enough gas to use the bbq, the rubbish instructions were conflicting… stating there would be black rubbish bags to transfer rubbish to - but these weren’t provided. There was a dead white tail in my bed. No milk. Be sure to take own towels. We went for 3 nights and were only provided a single towel each. Fan has a fault and is extremely loud, but there is air con available. Room has large windows, that don’t open
