Lovely cottage and a beautiful but uncrowded fishing village

Location was perfect and we loved the layout

The changeover team should check for breakages and replace. The owner was very responsive and provided new glasses that were missing on arrival

Wonderful time out from stuff......just a lovely time to observe wildlife and a time gone.

This old fisherfolks cottage was just as we expected. Small but perfectly formed for two people who wanted to just relax.....and we did. The village was welcoming without being overboard. We eatched a seagull and her mate our entire trip take turns nesting on the expectant babe. Just simple time.

We had a short but very lovely stay, and would like to return again some day.

It was self catering, but a welcome tray of tea/biscuits and milk was a thoughtful addition. The location was ideal and close to the centre. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was powerful. The whole cottage was very comfortable.

No actual dislikes for us, but the stairs to the two floors could be quite steep for some people.

Great location, lots of radiators so was super warm, everything you need! Shower very hot and spacious.

Wonderful cottage in very quaint village.

The cottage was perfect. Just right for two persons. Very clean and homely. Lovely art work. Location of cottage perfect, pubs x 2 and coffee shop (Dottys) also on hand.

As it was very cold the only negative comment I could make is that perhaps the heating could have been switched on prior to our arrival.

Had a great stay with everything we needed. The property was quirky and loverly and clean.

The location was excellent. The age of the property was great and cosy. The little touches were lovely the cookies on table the milk and butter in fridge was a lovely touch.

A Unique experience

It was a unique experience Walk to everything in town…shops, harbour, pub, tea rooms

Seagulls, seagulls, seagulls ….. very disappointing the cleanlinesses of the outdoor areas. Steepness of the environment both inside the cottage and getting to the car was not for us….physically challenging From time to time there was an odour ( stink) not sure where from but very much like the sewerage….not the outgoing tide we understood that odour

Gorgeous cottage

lovely little cottage in the heart of the village. The little touches such as the cookies / tea/coffee make a visitor feel very welcome. The standard of finish in the cottage was excellent as were the linens !!

parking is an issue in the village - knowing that helps to plan your stay but it means I would not visit at more busy periods
