Friendly, comfortable, well-equipped house with a wonderful view from the terrace

Magically beautiful surroundings, the house is spacious, friendly, comfortable, well-equipped, and clean, with a wonderful view from the terrace. There are three spacious bedrooms where five adults and one child could stay comfortably. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept really well. The kitchen is fully equipped, with nice, perfectly usable kitchen appliances, tableware, and cutlery. On the terrace, there are comfortable chairs, lounge beds, and even a grill is available.The owner is approachable, friendly, and very reliable. I 100% recommend this accommodation."

Good value vacation house

The flat was huge - too spacious for 4 people. The kitchen has more than enough machines and the sauna is the absolute highlight. The view from the room and the terrace is stunning. The owner lives downstairs and was responsive, provided with us all the things we asked for.

The two bedrooms have different mattress. One room is quite comfortable, however the other one is super soft. I was swallowed by the mattress, and the sleeping quality was poor after a long day of hiking. The cookware in the kitchen was basic. We could only boil and fry basic stuff.

A dream house in the heart of the Alps!

The facility was fully equipped, with large, clean bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, bathrooms and a beautiful terrace with a fantastic view on mountains! The owner was super friendly, responded on everything we asked. We even got a little present from him! Highly recommended !

Superb

Big house, lot of space, clean, comfortable beds, big bathroom, 2 toilets and spacioius terrace, great place to stay in summer. We appreciated the coffee maker with coffee 😊.

We would recommend to put mosquito net to the children's room as well.

Good

It’s a beautiful traditional Austrian village. Nothing much there though. However it’s easy to jump on a bus into Lienz, just not on a weekend as no buses on a Sunday and not many on a Saturday. The bathroom and coffee machine were great.

The beds were quite uncomfortable and it wasn’t very clean.

Absolutely amazing place and relaxing time

We liked the location and the apartment, or a house in fact, because we were the only guests in the house. Oberlienz is a small village very close to Lienz, more like its suburb, so it is close to main routs but silent and beautiful at the same time, the typical Austrian village full of nice houses with amazing flowers. As for the house, there is a great big terrace with an absolutely amazing view on the mountains. All rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom are huge, spacious and comfortable. I have never seen so many shelves, places to store and hangers in any other apartment. Kitchen is well equipped, with a great coffeemaker, and other household appliances of high quality. The only one that is missing is a common toaster ;) small problem. There are even mosquito nets in the windows.

The only problem with the apartment was an Internet connection that wasn't accessible during our stay. The host was trying to help us to fix it remotely but finally stated that apparently it was the problem on a provider's side. We accepted that and even treated it as a blessing because it allowed us to 'disconnect' (particularly beneficial for our teenager) but after all we would have appreciated using the free net from time to time, e.g. to plan our trips. That is, however, a minor problem in comparison with everything the apartment offers. It is just to 'warn' those who cannot survive a day without wifi ;) that there may ocurr such a problem.

Great

Location was bit out of the main town, but the view made it worthwhile. The house is much bigger than we expected and had a great patio and fully set up kitchen. If I come back next year I would stay here again.

Все было прекрасно, очень уютный чистый дом, лучше даже, чем на фотографиях, по запросу нам предоставили не только дополнительную кровать, но и дополнительную комнату. Хозяева очень приветливые. Кровати удобные. В доме было все, что необходимо. Очень вкусное кофе из кофемашины, прекрасные виды с террасы, отличное месторасположение. Мы остались очень довольны и хотели бы определенно еще вернуться. PS: Приятным бонусом оказалось, что в доме 2 санузла, думали исходя из описания, что один.

Feines Quartier mit großzügiger Ausstattung

Das Ferienhaus war noch größer als erwartet. Die Ausstattung bewegte sich auf einem absoluten high level, insbesondere die Anzahl und die (hochwertige) Qualität der Küchengeräte haben unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Auch Gewürze und anderes Zubehör waren vorhanden, ganz zu schweigen von der phantastischen Kaffee-Maschine... Die Sauna im Garten ist sehr ruhig gelegen und rundete durch ihr schönes und behagliche Ambiente das feine Urlaubsdomizil auf positive Weise ab.

Als Nicht-Hunde-Besitzer und Nicht-Hunde-Experte sollte man im Vorfeld besser über das Vorhandensein des dortigen (Wach-)Hundes informiert werden. Es ist ungewöhnlich, dass Hunde direkt vor dem Nebeneingang frei herumlaufen und den Gästen auf unangenehme Art und Weise den Rückweg in die Wohnung versperren. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Besitzer wurde die Situation ab dem 2. Aufenthaltstag glücklicherweise deutlich verbessert.

Viel Platz und Komfort für unseren Skiurlaub

Wir waren zu viert für 8 Tage im Rackhof zu Gast. Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz und die Küche ist riesig groß. Von Oberlienz aus erreichten wir verschiedene Skigebiete.

Das große Sofa im Wohnzimmer war für uns zu weich. Aber das ist halt Geschmacksache und Klagen auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Vynikající ubytování v podhůří Velkých Taur

Vše v pořádku, k dispozici celý dům – mnoho místa, terasa s výhledem na hory. V kuchyni bohatá výbava, Wi-Fi, TV funkční, není, co vytknout. Pár minut autem od ubytování městečko Lienz, kde je vše potřebné (obchody, restaurace). Byli jsme velmi spokojeni.

Snad jen příliš měkké matrace v jednom pokoji a v některých oknech chybějící sítě proti komárům, ale to jsou nepodstatné detaily.
