Maya's Apartment - Complimentary Paphos Airport Transport

Notre hôte, James, nous a gentillement accueillis à l'aéroport de Paphos malgré l'heure tardive de notre vol et nous a conduits à notre logement. Un vrai plus pour des vacances paisibles! James est très accueillant, disponible et de très bons conseils. Il avait même rempli le frigo pour nous, tout éclairé et climatisé. A notre arrivée, nous avons été tout de suite séduits par le charme du logement, son incroyablle terrasse avec accès direct à la piscine. L'eau était bien chaude et les abords bien entretenus. L'endroit était calme et la plupart du temps, nous avions la piscine rien que pour nous. James nous a également aidés à réserver notre voiture de location. Même si la old town est accessible à pied, il est préférable de louer une voiture pour sillonner le pays et faire les courses. Le petit commerce local peut dépanner mais les prix sont élevés.

Nous n'avons pas testé la machine à café car nous ne savions pas quelles capsules utiliser mais le thé nous convenait parfaitement!

Our host was very helpful & gave us lots of information. The apartment was very comfortable & had everything we needed. The pool & surrounding area were lovely, felt safe & was quiet. Large sunny terrace. English tv channels & movies.

Was a little far from town & seafront for two older couples to walk every day with one person of reduced mobility. We hired a mobility scooter with help from our host. There are buses & taxis you can use.

Wygodny apartament z ogromnym tarasem i basenem, spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Lokalizacja bardzo dogodna, cicha i spokojna okolica. Bardzo czysto. Do promenady ok. 30 minut spacerkiem. Wspaniały właściciel James, który zapewnił nam bezpłatny transfer z lotniska i na lotnisko. Zostaliśmy bardzo miło przywitani, w apartamencie czekały na nas owoce, napoje (sok, mleko, piwo, wino), chleb, ser, wędlina, dzięki czemu po przylocie nie musieliśmy od razu robić zakupów. W apartamencie znajdowało się wszystko, czego potrzeba do życia. James był bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny, reagował na wszystkie nasze prośby i pytania. Pomógł wynająć samochód, udzielił wskazówek dotyczących ciekawych miejsc do zwiedzenia a także dobrych restauracji. James mówi dość dobrze po polsku, więc było to dla nas dużym udogodnieniem. Dziękujemy Ci James za wspaniały pobyt i pozdrawiamy serdecznie!

James is an absolute wonderful host. A really nice guy.

Unfortunately the apartment is not up to standard and not as advertised in the pictures. The host has a very laid back and aloof view of what's acceptable. The apartment is basic, clean to a degree but the attention to detail is lacking. More effort needs to be made. It's not cosy and homely but more "get em in and turn em out" feeling with random bric and brac agus shite left over from previous guests. The condition agus quality of the beds, mattresses and pillows are very poor. The bathroom needs serious attention with a lick of paint, clean the tiles, scrap the dirty shower curtain and plastic bins which are caked with dust. All over it is very grubby. The outdoor area looks enticing but don't be fooled. It is abysmal and a serious sign of "not give a shite" on the owners behalf. A bit of effort to hose down and scrub the dirty, tacky, cheap, furniture would have made a passable aesthetic......but no. Lazy, take the money approach. I wouldn't go near this again. Totally not worth the money.
