Avalon IDG Apartments with Rooftop Pool & Gym

You won't make a mistake staying here. We went to Vietnam for 2 weeks for my partner and my dad to get new teeth. We we're really comfortable staying at Avalon apartments and really felt at home. The pool is great for a late night swim and its a very quite apartment in a great area. The owners are fantastic and were reachable the whole time we were there. I would definitely rebook this apartment again.

The only thing's negative I could say is not enough towels, no TV in the main bedroom ( we took a projector with us, which was great ), and the beds are a little to hard for me but my partner didn't mind the hard bed. The cleaner never moped the floor when she came to clean in the middle of our stay. But everything else made up for this. We were really happy staying here and like i said, I would definitely rebook this apartment if heading back to Vietnam.

Excellent location, most of the major sites to visit were 5-10 minutes walk away. For anything farther using Grab to get there was a breeze and also quite cheap. Pool was wonderful and not very busy. The view from the top floor where the pool is located also offers a nice view of the city. Owners were always eager to help us with any of our requests.

It is really hard to find anything wrong with this property. If there is one thing, it might be the price. At almost 200USD a night, this is not cheap by Vietnamese standards.

A spacious 2 bedroom apartment. very clean and with all the amenities. centrally located. vincom mall and other malls are 10 minutes walking distance. many restaurants around. the air conditioning works well. rooftop swimming pool is good. the gym has enough equipments. dry sauna is available. the associates who maintain the apartment are very well behaved. after booking it is recommended to contact them through their whatsapp and email. you need to send them your passport scan copy and arrival details. after reaching ho chi minh buy Vietnam sim card and give them the number through WhatsApp.

although central but too much traffic. there is no balcony in the apartment but the living room window glasa can be opened. not a big issue. the gym has no changing/locker room. sauna is not separate for men and women. only one dry sauna. no steam room. but i didn't find anyone using it.

We are a couple with our 8 y/o and we loved our stay here: great location, not touristy yet close to everything (right next to the park and the US embassy, short walk to Ben Thanh market and Dong Khoi street). The apartment itself was very stylish, clean and ACs worked wonderfully. I liked to spend the hot afternoons at the gym and my daughter loved the rooftop pool, it worked out well for us. Our host was delightful and gracious.
