Aston Sidoarjo City Hotel & Conference Center

This is my regular stay when visiting Sidoarjo. I know the staff will always be excellent and welcoming. We asked for an iron and received it straight away and they cannot do more to accommodate us. Rooms are comfortable and acts as a really nice place to rest.

Only wish they had some gluten free bread at breakfast or other gluten free foods

On my way to Bali I was stay one nite. And was good. My way back I was stay again at the same hotel. And Was disappointed course all the pillow so smell all of them . Because was so late at nite, and I was tired. So I cover the pillow with my clothes. And made my rest not fully rest. May be the house keeping of the hotel needs more control about it.

The facilities like the pool and the room were ok

Booked a room for 3 persons. Only 2 towels in the room. They didn't provide smaller towels. After asking we got only 1 extra towel. We asked for a second door key but we couldn't get it. Only at the end of our second day we got an extra key. Roomcleaning was done around 3:30 pm which meant we had full bins and dirty towels until that time and we were resting but needed to get up to have the room cleaned. Would be better in the morning to clean. At the bar/restaurant ordering a drink took every time a lot of time. We waited 2 times almost 20 minutes just to get a drink while there were only 3 customers. Breakfast restaurant tables were not enough inside which meant we had to sit in the smokers area. Even when a table came available it took long before it was cleaned. Toilets downstairs at the lobby were very dirty and wet. Hotel itself is nice but we would not book this again.
