4 Keeper's Cottage, Hillfield Village

Peace & quite in the countryside

The cottage was just lovely, very comfy & peaceful. The surrounding grounds are beautifully kept. What I really appreciate is the top cleanliness of the property- 2nd visit to Hillfield in less than 6 months.

I think you need to light up the parking area slightly more - that would be my only thought.

The outside bannister hand rail leading you up the steps to the front door was unsafe.falling apart, and it was dangerous for an elderly person.

The staff that run the property are brilliant. They’re very helpful if you have problems like we did, they are friendly helpful and will do their best to sort it out for you. The property itself we had problems with the decking was unsafe. The key was broken, and the television is just a joke. We left a day earlier because the telly had no picture at all on the last day ! This may not be an issue with some people, but my husband has quite a few health issues, so he likes to watch the TV as we were not planning on going out every day so that was a real letdown, unfortunately.

Property is clean. The beds are comfortable so was the sofa, and the located is great very quiet.
