The food was exceptional. I enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning and the Pork Belly ............ The friendliness of the staff and owners was above standards.

This is a friendly clean place in a realy great environment next to a lake. Wonderful bird life as well. Restaurant food is excellent. And the evening ambience with burning fire is excellent. Staff is really friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to help you. Really nice bar area and extremely well stocked with any drink you can think of. My room was spacious and extremely. Better than any grand hotel. Shower was great with good hot water and high pressure. Soaps, shower gels and shampoo supplied daily and so is the good plunger coffee (which was sutch a relief as I dont drink instant) rusks and even fruit. Extremely quiet environment.
I would suggest a seerate working desk for business travelers. The current working desk is filled up by the kettle and other goodies. You have to remove everything to get you laptop on. But this does not make the place worse, its just a inconvenience.
