Baron Faro - Guest House

The kitchen and roof terrace are an absolute bonus for the central location. Breakfast at the friendly cafe is a great idea for a hotel without the facilities in house

My only complaint was the lack of tea or coffee to use in the machine / kettle. I was looking forward to a morning coffee on the terrace. It was also a bit tricky to get a heavy case inside and up the stairs but easy if travelling lighter than I was.

Breakfast was really good, maybe too little for a big eater but you can always ask for something extra & just pay it... Waiters at Pastelaria Betty were very friendly! I had a problem with opening my door with the phone so I called the number & the lady helped me out immediately :) When you leave the building & go to left, you have the "mercade municipal de Faro" with a Auchan & an indoor market with fruit, vegetables, meat, fish etc. & a very good restaurant outside (O Palhacinho) with the best fresh fish, shrimps etc.

the room was small, maybe just a little too small for 2 people (?), but I was travelling alone so no issue for me :)

Easy to walk to marina. Feel safe when in , code keeps everyone out. Roof terrace is nice. Kitchen available if you want to make hot drink or snack., hairdry in room. Iorn available. Bfast is lovley in local cafe. You have tokens.shower fel in bathroom

No staff on site. But can phone if needed. Room is small but clean and everything you need is in room. Steep steps to get up to room.

Cold room. Heater did not work. No staff in a guest house.
