#1 Margate Gardens is an attractively and comfortably furnished fully air-conditioned 1200 square foot, non-smoking, end unit ground floor apartment . It has a living and dining area open floor plan allowing for a cool and breezy setting and you will enjoy dining on the private sheltered patio.
The en-suite large master bedroom with A/C has a king-size bed and plenty of closet space. There is a second shared bathroom. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and finishes and laundry facilities. There is also a safe to store valuables.
Margate Gardens complex, complete with a spacious shared swimming pool and lush, tropical, beautifully maintained gardens, is a secure, gated, ideally situated condominium complex on the pristine south coast of the island. It is directly opposite Barbados’ first Boardwalk by the sea, complete with panoramas, seats and retreats and perfect for an early morning/late evening run/stroll. The location is ideally situated close to all south coast beaches and the popular Accra Beach is within walking distance as are some well-known restaurants such as Tapas, (directly across the street) Blakey's, Naru, Art Splash and Blue Pineapple. All popular and recommended. Next door to the complex is Lanterns Mall offering a variety of shops, a bank, a food court and convenience stores including a pharmacy. Golfing and other recreational facilities are also nearby.
Public transportation is right outside the complex.
Rates include: Local taxes and weekly maid service when linens and towels are changed and laundered.
There is a Bds $300 cap on electricity charges.

We've been to Margate Gardens several times and this unit did not disappoint. We love the location across from the boardwalk with the proximity to many restaurants, bars and Rockley beach. Angela and her manager Denise were both very easy to communicate with and our stay was so delightful we've already booked for next year!

First night the bedroom AC stopped working but we were able to contact the owner and it was fixed that morning. Water was out for part of a day which was the whole area. Only downside to this is if you’re looking for a hot shower you have to time it out right or use the back up electric water heater. Otherwise it was absolutely wonderful location, complex and community.

Amazing property, secure, clean, nice furniture and cable TV. Close to small shops, many food options within a minutes walk. Beach and boardwalk are across the street. All these amenities made for an easy business trip. Luxury style apartment. Thank you and look forward to booking next time I am on the Island.
