Mai Kilimanjaro Home Stay

It's perfect - what a wonderful place to stay! I don't even know where to begin. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The entire staff were so warm and welcoming that I felt completely at ease the whole time. The food was outstanding (kudos to Ignaz), and I loved spending my days in the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings and my evenings around the fire pit enjoying good food and great conversations. The bed is suuuper comfortable (yes, it's so comfortable that I want to make a special point of mentioning it :)) I highly recommend this place especially when you want to relax and enjoy nature. Thank you Amadeus and the whole team!

Everything was perfect - one of the best homestays I've ever had! Just a heads-up for people who are as unprepared as I was: it’s a mountain village, so it can get a bit chilly. Check the temperature before you go, especially if you're sensitive to the cold like me (I get cold at 20°C). Luckily, my hosts took amazing care of me with a warm fire, hot tea and coffee, and hot water bottles. I warmed up in no time!

The location was stunning. Amadeus and his family and friends were amazing. The accommodation was beyond expectations! Would love for everyone to experience this place and it’s beauty!

This is Paradise in Kilimanjaro. This is not my first stay and each time is exceptional. Amadeus is a great host! And he organised a safari trip for me which is was marvellous! Saw the Big Five!!! And the tours around the Home Stay and Mt Kilimanjaro were great. Locally grown Food was delicious! Fresh coffee also from the Home Stay . Highly recommend !
