Elmitho House

The property is large with two living spaces, and a sunny balcony in the morning, big enough for large groups to hang out. Everything was tidy and Agnes and Lilian did a great job of looking after us- great food and advice of what to do.

It is a little far out of town but there are local shops a few steps away selling anything you need, and easy to get a Bolt from the main road. So nice being away from the tourist area and pushy sellers. Everyone in the neighbour hood is so kind!

The house is really spacious and looks just like it is in the pictures. The staff were really welcoming and made our stay really comfortable. The host Emmanuel was also very helpful and catered to all our needs.

Road to the house can be a bit challenging for cars with low clearance.

The property is exactly as in the photos. It was quite clean, amazing, and helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable. Our meals were freshly made and delicious- this was one of the best things about the property. The property is great for group or family travelers.

The short dirt road leading to the property is not so good. Best to have a car with good ground clearance as it can get hectic when it rains.

We recently stayed here as a group of 5 for two nights and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is stunning — the house is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. Every room was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and clearly cared for with a great deal of attention to detail. It was the kind of space where you immediately feel at home the moment you walk in. The breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. Delicious, well-prepared, and a lovely way to start each morning — exactly what you want when you're travelling as a group. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the staff. Each team member was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Emmanuel, who was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Emmanuel went above and beyond in every sense — he was prompt, proactive, and incredibly attentive. No matter what time we reached out, he responded quickly and with a smile. What impressed us most was how he consistently checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, without ever being intrusive. That kind of thoughtful hospitality is rare and truly makes all the difference. We would not hesitate to return and would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and well-staffed place to stay.
