Songota Falls Lodge

It s a cozy place with a big beautful garden. We enjoyed it and also the dinner wich is self cooked and served with local food was delicous. Thanks a lot for the great stay

Un petit peu froid, mais c'était l'hiver

Joyce, the owner and hostess, is so pleasant and accommodating. We stayed in the family room with our two kids age 14 and 11 for four nights. She is a great cook with meals that met our families needs. She had boxed breakfast ready for us to take when we had early morning excursions and had dinner waiting when we arrived later than expected. Raymond, was also very helpful with our needs. He supported the operations such as laundry and transport. He is also a great artist. Beautifully landscaped grounds. All kinds of fruit trees and manicured lawn. The walking paths are stone and easy to navigate. There are comfortable seating areas with good WiFi. The lodge buildings are so very beautiful. I enjoyed opening my eyes to the wonderful stone and wood work on the inside of our rooms each day. Bonus: no mosquitoes!

Something to be aware of but doesn’t directly affect the property: horrible road to the lodge. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride.

El sitio es muy bonito, con mucha vegetación y muy buenas vistas y los chozos tienen bastante encanto con su estilo africano y tienen buen precio. La dueña es amable y cocina muy bien.

Tuve un problema porque yo realicé el pago por Booking tiempo antes de ir, pero ellos decían no haberlo recibido y en ningún caso me dieron ninguna otra opción que volver a pagar. He tenido que reclamar a Booking su devolución. La cena que nos cocinó la dueña estaba muy rica pero nos pareció un precio excesivo (más de 60$), en relación con el precio de la habitación y con lo que habíamos pagado por comer o cenar en muchos otros sitios. También tiene un acceso bastante complicado.
