No parking on site and it’s impossible to drive in. It’s a little bit inconvenient but not too bad. There is a paid parking nearby (need CHF coins).

Pleasant stay in a spacious studio apartment

The vintage house lies in the village centre but the interior of the studio apartment is modern, spacious, clean, quiet and cozy. The landlady is friendly and speaks perfect German, check-in and check-out times were flexible. Parking is for free at the railway station, which lies 2 minutes from the flat on foot and where the landlady fetched me on the first day. In case the limited spaces are all occupied (which was the case for me on 1 out of 4 days), there is another nearby parking, which is paid during the day (CHF 1/hour) but free during the night. Direct trains serve Locarno and the Centovalli running approx. every 60 minutes. I will definitely book the place again for my next visit to Locarno region.

A microwave oven would have been useful to warm up small meals.

Einrichtung: Kaffemaschine, Wasserkocher, moderne Dusche, Kühlschrank, Mückengitter vor den Fenster, kleiner Balkon, ruhige Lage, guter ÖV-Anschluss, klare und freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Personal.

Wir haben uns in den drei Tagen rundum wohlgefühlt.

Die Buchung war ohne Frühstück. Für unsere Zwecke war die Unterkunft jedoch perfekt. Die als Doppelzimmer deklarierte Unterkunft hat zwar keine Küche, fühlt sich jedoch wie eine Ferienwohnung an, in der man sich Kaffee und Tee zubereiten kann und Nahrungsmittel in einem Kühlschrank aufbewahren kann. Man hat die Möglichkeit auf einer kleinen Terrasse zu sitzen. Das Bad ist perfekt ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Auch allgemein ist die Sauberkeit perfekt. Und die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter ist besonders erwähnenswert.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt fehlt es ggf. an der Küche oder anderen Annehmlichkeiten wie TV. Das Internet war nicht ganz stabil. Für einen Aktivurlaub mit Wandern oder Radfahren würde dies meiner Ansicht nach jedoch nicht stören. Eventuell muss die Parksituation berücksichtigt werden. An dem Haus kann durch die Enge in der Straße nicht direkt geparkt werden. Ganz in der Nähe stellt die Kommune kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeiten am Bahnhof zur Verfügung.

Schöne und praktische Unterkunft für einen tollen Urlaub

Ruhige Lage nahe beim Zug, gute Ausstattung, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und den Sitzplatz draussen konnte ich sogar auch bei Regenwetter benutzen
