We loved the size of the cottage and the fact it had it's own secure garden so we could let the dogs out safely. (After checking if the peacocks had left the yard!) There are other properties around but we didn't really see anyone (which is perfect for us) There were sheep, chickens and geese in the fields, the location.is great - 5 minute drive to Abergavenny and right on the edge of the Brecons.
Im not an early riser so waking up to the Cockerell at 6am every morning took some getting used to

Great hosts, great property, wonderful surroundings and garden. The kids loved seeing all the animals so Close to the property

Location. Spacious. Clean. Modern.
No heating made for an uncomfortable stay. There is a wood burning stove in lounge room with paper and logs. There were no matches or they were well hidden. Someone to contact on arrival would have made things a lot better.
