Gorgeous location, in the the trees by a lovely lake- felt I was forest bathing . Incredibly extensive selection of food for breakfast and very lovely dinner with extra sushi on the side
Tho is a functional onsen not pretending to be a modern spa experience. I liked it for this but others may be less enamoured

Breakfast was good with a choice of western and Japanese
Dinners were great Japanese style
Onsen was most enjoyable
The baths and dining area were in a different building : up a flight, go to the next building, down a flight.
